I really love that you sew, such a creative finish, attaching Tiny Town to the Spool. Will be trying that flange finish, lets the design do the talking. Tudor Bee, so elegant, love every single bee by The Blue Flower. You are more productive than ever, right? Impressive.

I laughed so hard when you showed the DnD fabric. I, too have a husband who plays. That fabric is fabulous and was a great way to prove to him that quilt fabric comes in more than tiny prints and flowers. When I'm better at cutting fabric, I might have to grab some and make something for our guest/game room.

I am so with you on The Mill House. i'm still drooling over that video and wishing I coud have one. I love Spring. Living thru a Chicago winter is horrid. And I'm in a Spring countdown mood. right now we are having a pretty good ice stiorm, tomorrow will be horrid getting to work. But I still have power so life is good.

You have truly inspired me to get going on my “Where Flowers Bloom!” I’ve had the pattern for a year, and now I am really motivated! Also, love your “Tiny Town” finish! You ARE an inspiration!❤
Have you thought about sewing a tab of the check (full width or height? Sew it to the vertical end.) to one side of the Tiny Town & tuck it under the other side when you button it? Just an idea for those who don't want the wood showing at the closure. I'm not a finisher & love all of your tutorials.
I did, but that would have to be much more precise than the elastic and buttons, with the elastic that keeps it very tight and fitted to the spool itself so it doesn't slip around. I don't mind the spool showing on the back because it won't really be visible while it's on display! Thank you!

Just wanted to let you know you can get a wood repair kit at Hobby Lobby that comes with markers and wax crayons for $4.99. I use those to repair clearance frames that have a little ding in them! Super easy to use!

I don't know if you are aware of this, but San Antonio has a LNS again!! Woo hoo!! Under the Sea Fabrics opened up a shop on the Northwest side. Not as massive as The Tinsmith's Wife, but a good selection of floss and charts - and her hand dyed fabric is amazing! Looking forward to your next video ...

So I've spent many a Christmas coming up with clever D&D gifts. You could make him boxers or pj pants. Or you could make him a super cool bag to store his dice or like a play mat. I hope you have an amazing time at Market!

So many wonderful things to comment on in this video!! The spool finish is great and I hope to do one soon! Great prices on the frames. On the one with a small nick, just use a permanent marker to touch it up. I know I say this all the time, but between cross stitching, quilting, and working full time, you get so much done!!! All amazing !! You are definitely not alone in not remembering everything. I have fabric that I know I bought for a specific quilt, then either don’t remember the pattern, or I can’t find the pattern!! Have a great time at market. So happy for you to get to attend. I am stitching a Hands Across The Sea using the booklet, and there is a shaded overlap that shows 'this is the same as the previous page' and/or repeated. Hope the made sense.
Ok perfect, I may have to try the booklet on my next HATS piece!
@@elizabethanncanstitch I really like the booklet. I don't even need to highlight because I try to work on each motif at a time. Very easy to follow. They are color charts, which I actually like as well.

a little tip to keep thread from slipping out the needle. Do a loop then slide your needle through and create an overhand knot near the needle with the tail. This should keep it secure till you are ready to end. Or just make an overhand knot near the eye of the needle with the tail. Same thing. Different method. Thanks for sharing.
