I got the first taste of batchoy in Lapaz way back in 1974. The owner Deco guillergan Sr is a neighbor of ours and most of his family still lives in nabitasan lapaz. Way back then Batchoy is already famous inside the market Deco is a butcher and most of his client are people who work at the market. Back then intestines are one of the prime ingredient. If you want extra special “ utok” or brain will be included, fresh egg are cater to kids coz its more inviting. Decos Lapaz batchoy i believe has the best taste in batchoy , sadly now its owned by Injap . Teds Lapaz batchoy is also made his name way back when i was in highschool 1984 when they expand with alot of branches and out in the market.

The Netong's La Paz Batchoy is from the family of Mr. Guillergan. The one who's running the business, I believe, is his grandson Sir Patrick Guillergan, who is also a Clinical Intsructor of WVSU College of Nursing. My younger sister was one of her students before and she told me about this fact.

Well it depends po sa puwesto mo pero mostly sa manila o Iloilo. Ang ordinary is about 65 peso,walang itlog at gung special is 75 peso.
