love everything about the malice clips except the little tab hangs on the bottom and its very visible.

Yeah, same. They are easy to use, but they suck if you want to wear them on your belt or low on a plate carrier. Check out WTFix straps. They are basically the same idea, but soft and flexible enough that they won't dig in and cause hot spots.

What is the plastic tool you are using to shoehorn the Velcro and the malice clips?

It's a MOLLE Stick, which is just another attachment system that allows you to quickly remove a medical pouch.

I just received my plate carrier (jpc2.0) and for some reason I can't seem to figure out how to install a mag pouch.
I bought a triple mag pouch (ido gear) from Amazon however the straps are too short to reach from the top to the bottom....

This might come across as harsh, but that isn't my intention:
Crye doesn't make out of spec carriers, so your Amazon pouch is most likely the problem. I'd have to see the pouch to know for sure, but considering all of their products are just Chinese airsoft knockoffs of Crye and HSGI, along with foam "SAPI Plates" my money is on "you get what you pay for." If you bought a legit JPC for legit use, *I would highly recommend buying genuine quality mag pouches* for it. If it's for airsoft or just for fun, the cheaper options will most likely work. I totally get trying to save money by going with cheaper options on Amazon, but if you're planning on trusting your life to this gear, don't buy the cheapest stuff you can find and expect to have a good time.

@@TheWarriorSolution thanks for the reply! And I didn't try and save money I just couldn't find the crye ones in ranger green so I figured I'd get whatever I could that is available.
But after you explained it I understand.
What placard or molle flap would you recommend?
And do I need a molle flap with the 2.0? Or is there a mag pouch that mounts on to regular setup?
