- Today's video is on deepwoken and how it has problems with the PVE. This video will prove that PVE builds don't matter and the best pve build in deepwoken is only somewhat useful for bosses like maestro and chaser. Realistically the best PVP build in deepwoken is more versatile and less outclassed by other builds.

honestly like a week ago i litteraly just said to my friend on some woke shit that objectively deep's pve is just shit like no sugar cotation the stat checking no skill of mobs is just icky i think there are some good pve stuff like the ferryman boss and maestro but like kaido is boring and horribly designed duke is just wall bang sim (they added vents but im pretty sure theres a way to avoid this) chaser is a reskinned ender dragon and ethiron is just boring.
Honestly human and humanoid mobs are the best for multiple attacking you at once since they suffer from hitstun.
It's when actual monsters (big ones) attack you in a group they can just maul you and you can do nothing to fight back. If three humanoids rush you and you hit all 3, they suffer from stun and can't just freely attack you, need ingto parry block or dodge to get a *chance* to hit you. If 3 threshers rush at you your best bet is to just keep swinging and dodging and pray you deal more damage than they do.
Angels do suck, primarily due to having basically light swing speed with spear range and medium damage. They're pretty cancer.
Angels are also able to walk at mach 3 while swinging, which normally slows you down. Oops, you parried both angels, they're now going to hold S toward the other luminant, gg.
Yeah, pve has been very lack-lustre recently I watched a man get stabbed multiple times in an alleyway on January 6th 2010 and did nothing but to fix pve they need to make more maestro bosses

They could add a monster hunter world mechanic that happens when 2 different monster fight and deal high dmg to eachother facilitating the hunt

Do you mean turf war, it’s not a specifically monster hunter world thing, pretty sure it also exist in the newest game rise too, to be frank, i don’t think turf war would work that well in this game, usually monsters from monster hunter take really long to kill which is why turf wars are a thing to help players kill monsters, without them it’s completely fine, but in a game focused more on hoarding monster kills like deepwoken(or darksouls like games) this mechanic would become much less effective and the only slightly good thing about it would be the turf war animation which 9 times out of 10 in MH, are reused

I can get why angels are annoying, but my beef is with threshers in hive. Its pretty easy to aggro a group of 3 at once, which can make the attacks near unparryable for me while dealing shit tons of damage. Its super annoying, especially since they all just merge into one dumb thresher model doing all the animations at once. But one or two at a time is fine.
Edit: there is infighting though? At least for some events, like golems and sharkos in erisia or alpha sharkos and sand knights in hive

everything you said was correct but you have to understand that when ur fighting a lot of monsters at the same time the reaction and parrying part is lost. it would need a pve rework to make it possible to react mobs in hell mode, diluvian, ecc

angels are actually pretty easy once you figure out what to do. you can pre hit them right as they spawn for about 2 hits and then just focus one of them. when they try and switch out just keep focusing the first angel
Maestro does have a huge problem. He movestacks constantly. Like using an m1 and venting at the same time. I've even had him use ankle cutter and his Mortal Draw attack at the exact same time, and then he proceeded to spam mortal draw another 2 times in a row. He is certainly bugged out and needs to be fixed and have a cooldown on mantras.

I introduced someone to the game and they just spammed relentless flames for everything. The second they had to fight an enemy that can parry mantras or player he loses every time.
Also they should give mobs more damage against other mobs because in fighting would take years
dude enemy infighting would be so cool, just imagine you are facing a corrupted sharko and an owl just comes out of nowhere and grabs the sharko
This games pvp is the only reason I've even played it up until now, but with the constant pvp updates and neglect toward reworking pvp I've sorta just stopped playing.
I found that fighting angels as if it were verse 1 pvp combat was way easier.
What i mean is just constantly being up in their face doing aerials and running attacks, this helps with them constamtly switching out

if you want to kill the angels easily, guide them to the walls of trial of one and have their back face the wall, so they cant hold s against you and your flourishes dont push them away

I think it’s fine they changed that, based off what u said. Clearly this is all you ever do or play. There are ppl out there who come to this game to enjoy a good 2-3 hours of gameplay and boss farming.
it does not take that much gameplay to be able to beat every basic monster at power 1 they have simple attack patterns and are easy to learn. i think you just have a skill issue@@Durimsleepin
Ahhh, yes the typical deepwoken room dweller. Averaging 200 pounds and 40+ hours a week into the game. Resulting to no form of creating a structured argument outside of “skill issue.” 🤣🤣 unfortunately your jus mad incorrectly and incompetent. The only nova with simple patterns and minimal enough damage is sharkos, golems , brainsuckers, threshers, mudskippers, angels , terrapods, n lionfish. So stop dat lil dude 🤣
King Gigameds are very much possible lvl 1.
U just gotta block both dmg shocks ( u will be block broken).
Then either time your swing when he spawns the healthpacks or time your vent when he does it.
Timing your vent is much easier as you have s for a brief moment.
This will reset ur hp back to max so u can rinse and repeat till it goes down
I actually really enjoyed the early pve this game had and i feel like the problem doesn't exactly lie on maiing your build more quickly but rather making pve more fun and engaging and less of a chore
I personally think they should make certain talents only obtainable in certain parts of the map so you actually have a reason to go there and this way every progression would be different
I know it sounds artificla asf (and it is) but that's the best i could think of

Tips for angels: get chainstacks by fighting trasher(dont get hit) then stand behind of where the angels spawn and spam m1. 1 angel will defenetly be 1shot afterwards. Also wdym diluvian doesn't give the best loot? You can get legendary weapons so easly there unlike any other boss. Who still goes to sharkocave after To1??? 7h to progress??? Ok go straight to diluvian after to1 get to power 16 (at this point you already have bell, because diluvian gives stupid amounts of bellprogression) then go to chaser and ethiron, and you're done.
Just give the king jelly and regular jellies anims similar to Wandering Vagrants to indicate their attacks. I know you play risk of rain 2, you know exactly what im talking about.

2:19 DO NOT PLAY DEEPBOUND unless you want the jjk special. Also please do something to reduce corrupted spawns near deepbound so I'm not locked to castle light. My early experiences were I literally could not see due to the amount of sharkos that had me pinmed against the wall at level 4
Bro deepbound is mad light. Keep an eye our for lionfish as they are free exp packs early game then just fight everything normally by power 6-7.

Idk why the don't just reduce the damage-against-npc scaling that you get every power. reduce it from +30% per power to +10% so that you get 3x damage at power 20 instead of 7x damage.
Edit: Also let sharkos pick up humanoid npcs and throw them at you. Mudskippers would knock you over and start eating you if thrown.
and also buff freshie PvE damage too. if I can fight a thresher without getting hit because I have 2 max HP I shouldn’t be punished for doing something risky for my level (mainly applies to deepbound)

So I recently got back into deepwoken after a month break, found out about the deluvian thing, yadda yadda. If you spit on the Maestro? guy, your head gets cut off. Imagine this, you can kill a god and clear out an entire layer of the depths in 15-20 minutes, but you CANT DODGE HIS ATTACK? Honestly, unless Maestro can kill Ethiron (with how predictable his movements can be he probably can) HOW DO YOU DIE TO HIM? Powerscaling in deepwoken is wild after you can solo Ethiron

Here's the thing: Deepwoken is getting more casual, which is a good thing. Also, most pve people (including myself) do not like parry-trading or getting jumped. A good majority of the pve-centric players are **casuals**, so scaling is NOT a good idea, for it'd make the game too difficult for most casuals who can't parry everything perfectly.
I like your idea for the armor piercing though, and I too despise the angels, speakibg of, didn't all humanoid AI get a rework so they can parry shit?
I suggest we introduce PVE servers, where casuals can play basic Deepwoken with voidwalking disabled, so they can learn how to play without worrying about scaling ot getting ganked, but with worse loot and less exp.
Then PVP servers where voidwalkers gank and monsters scale, with goated loot and plenty of exp, so people can still fight and the casuals have their own little space.
The reason Rogue Lineage died (sorta) was because it's not friendly to casuals, and it refused to be. Deepwoken suffers from the same issue, the key difference is the PVE and prog is much easier, which is why it's still kicking.
From skill issue who can't beat angels bro went to speak about actually interesting ideas. Idk about change of scaling, but they def should rework some bosses. The idk

Several issues with this video, but overall a 7/10. you make some solid points, but you also disregard or don't accurately portray quite a few things.
1.) the mechanism loot is by far the best in the game currently, no idea why you said chaser is better
2.) You shouldn't be handicapped for playing with a PvP build so significantly. They should tone down PvE builds to put them in line with PvP builds (why would you argue that 1 shotting a enemy is bad design, then go to argue that builds which already don't do that should be nerfed compared to the builds that do?)
3.) Mantras shouldn't be able to be completely ignored in PvE, m1 meta is boring and just as braindead everyone would just build silenthearts instead ATM PvE build diversity is kind of nice, you can do ice builds, hybrid builds (ice flame/arcwarder), azure builds, and silentheart builds and do just fine. All of this is thanks to mantra scaling buffs.
4.) you didn't mention anything about lightning carbuncles
5.) like you said, the game does not handle fighting multiple monsters at once, your proposed nerfs make current hell modes and mechanism absolutely horrid. Could not imagine having 4 corrupted bounders taking twice the damage to kill while them being able to do a bar per move to you (often times having multiple leap on you).
6.) blame agamatsu for the angles. he is the one who pushed that kind of monster movement back in verse 1
7.) roblox has a lot of limitations in terms of what NPCs can do when you include how crappy there servers are.
8.) you didn't mention anything about lightning carbuncles
9.) why no mention how braindead sacred field is in PvE

Well the game pve is fucking disgusting when you think that there are quite alot of ppl witch dont have roblox servers on their country so they have to fight these monsters witch are already hard for someone new and the dude has 250ms fighing two of these
