Inuit arctic people's traditionally used walrus intestines to make "gut skin parkas" They remove intestines inflate the whole length by blowing into it then tieing off ends and drying in sun. When dry cut down one side and open intestines up to make long strips sewn parallel to form a water resistant kayak splash suit. Some were just a parka coat or a full body suit. The intestines were water proofed with seal oil.
@@dashellemay1458 they live off the land. This is far better for the environment than eating meat from any grocery store. Commercial farms are where tons of animals are abused, killed in awful ways, and pumped with chemicals... And commercial farms are a big contributor to pollution. So yeah, I encourage hunting in the wild and using the entire animal to feed your family. It is better for nature. People only get mad at this because seals are cute... But they'll buy beef from a store that came from a disgusting, abusive commercial farm that's destroying the planet.
neat way to pack out the instestines - I'll try it this Fall if everything goes right - not on a seal tho - one of the ungulates in the woods - good video
It's called Daisy chain I was taught this while tree looping and when putting the ropes up I was taught to do this idk what they woulda called it but yeah easy to look up also ya only gotta pull 1 but and it all comes apart really quick and easy really good knot to know
@@ilikepushrodv8s210 They don't play with their guts and they don't waste anything from the seal. The fur is sold the meat is shared with other people in there community and so of the food goes to feed the dogs.
No it's not. Humans are no longer part of the natural life as we have evolved to make our own comfy homes with everything we need, domesticated certain animals and some to use them for food and/or clothing while others for working or others just for companions.
@@user-vj6us1nn9qBecause nature didn't give us its animals to eat. Isn't it enough with what humans have created for food: vegetables, chicken eggs, chicken meat, cow, pig, etc?
Eat what you hunt, I respect it.

Does it taste like chicken
It taste like seal😅
Seal chitterlings 😂
The gut can be used to wrap arrowheads/spearheads or as material for a harpoon head string. The skin is great for kayaks and waterproof clothes!

Love to no food waist!
So do you eat them or just kill them for no reason?
They kill them so they can play in their guts. Then they display the gruesome scene on a dinner plate.
It's tradition.
@@ilikepushrodv8s210 Terrible tradition. Let them kill themselves, not seals.
