Not to mention his military services to his country what’s wrong with that. Nothing to do with who won or lost. And while on the subject of war no side wins a war both sides lose in loss of life alone. I’m sorry you feel the way you do.

What a man, what an indomitable spirit. I would feel small in his presence I am sure. The older generation that endured years of wartime will alas too soon all be gone, to be replaced by a generation of " me firsts" and "snowflakes" Many of us do not respect or appreciate what was given by that generation that went before us, I fear we will never see their equal. I don't refer to the arms forces when I say that, I mean the people of this country then and now. I would say something about the people who gave thumbs down to this but they are not worth the thought that would go into it.

What an amazing voice Michael Ball has. Watching him singing, then Captain Sir Tom doing his part then being joined by the NHS Voice of Care Choir has me in tears. RIP, Captain Sir Tom. We here in Australia salute you. Rest well, you deserve it.

God bless this wonderful man. What an inspiration to us all. It's sad, he's the last of a dying breed. There will be no one left when these elders are gone. We should never forget the sacrifices they made, so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have. God bless you, Major, and thank you.
