This kid works hard, is confident and is inspired by the R&B of our childhoods. Why everyone bashing him for “stealing” music and proclaiming himself to be the best? He is supposed to do that. Anyone who works hard at their craft and owns their confidence is supposed to feel like they’re the best. How many artists have become famous for doing covers and sampling? A lot! So why hate on this kid? Y’all are corny. He has so much original music it’s not even funny! He hasn’t made a bad album yet and got the hits too.
Just because you make some good music and work hard doesn't mean a God Damn thing. There's so many artists doing literally the SAME exact thing he's doing. Making good music, working hard, dropping albums or mixtapes, doesn't automatically make you the King of such a popular genre that's full of legends before him. And there's a difference between confidence & arrogance. Also you have to do this shit for a long time to be considered a GOAT or the best at anything

I grew up to R&B and still listen to it but i have never heard Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Keith Sweat, Barry White say that they are the king of R&B! A king is crowned by the people, not the other way around and this stupid fool hasn't released a classic album, classic song or even put out a hit yet. I reply to this in 2020 and where is your king now?! NOWHERE!!!! lol
