I went there back in 2011. I had a 90 Toyota pickup. It was lifted a lot on 38’s but I still had IFS and front sway bar was connected. At that time there was 17 trails and then a few specialty pits for hardcore rock crawling. I’m not sure what they have now. But on that day I did all 17 trails un assisted. Was a great place and the owner was super nice. I like how at the time and assume it’s the same, they had a recovery vehicle so if you did break or get stuck, you called the office and they could come get you.

Very cool. I do remember seeing your Xterra. I hadn't been back since but I don't think I'm a big off road park person as much as FS trails and exploring.

@@timthetrailman4563 sad to report though, that xterra got sent to the crusher. I did however get all the off-road goodies off it and installed on my low mileage 2004 manual transmission four-wheel drive Xterra. So not a complete loss. Lol

New to off-roading. I have a fifth gen 4Runner. Would I need a lift kit for that?

A lift kit to go to Gulches? Not particularly. You will have to make decisions on where to go and what obstacles to go over or through. I did a lot of trails and off road parks while all stock. Not Jeep type obstacles of course. Take your time and enjoy the vehicle as is. Then find your own style in how you use it and want to modify it.

As in full size like F150? Not particularly. Ore Jeep, ATV, buggy and Bronco, 4runner, Land Crusier type vehicles.

@timthetrailman4563 Yeah, I've got a 4 wheel full-size RAM. I've been dying to get it in the mud, and this is the closest place to me

@danielpohl29 I would give it go. There is mud (deep) trails and rock trails.
