Lol i came straight from the video randomly searching Gordy for clips
The website says they do not operate in the US
the cut to the beanie baby price had me choking I was caught so off guard
was it the rare expensive one? r they worth thousands?
Same! Did he find a rare one?
Great song choice
@@apank21no
Yes 10s of thousands
THAT TMNT Clock is divine! ❤
I think target / Ross has them right now
Wow didn't know you watched his video gem ... fair play to you , I love forword to your videos retro Rick's the most .
I miss videos like this, now that the channel revolves around the store.
I watch these videos for Riff's cameos. Also, he needs another raise Rick 🤓
Ok guys, I checked. The Princess Diana bear has a bunch of listings in the hundreds and even thousands, but most sales on eBay are under $20. The high listings just seem to be fishing for crazy Princess Di collectors.
Edit a day later: so while on my own antique mall escapade, I found a Hope praying beanie baby. I did some quick research... And once again, eBay is full of Hope bears for a few bucks each.
Mostly 1st print that has the value and the rest are worthless. Idk if 2nd print has value now for I know it was pricy during the hype era. All those people who cared about the print run got burned for sure. Mostly there 2-8 locally depending how quick u wanna sell.
Except the one Riff showed that was almost twelve thousand, was a sold listing.
@@R3troZone unfortunately, a "sold" listing doesn't mean an item that was paid for. That listing is already gone, but there is another listing that "sold" for best offer, originally $50,000. It's currently relisted from the same seller for $5 +shipping.
Rick: "We'll cut the clip here..." And when it didn't happen and no annotation. I though, awwww...Rif isn't editing this episode.
I knew something was off when there were two loud obnoxious edits in the first two minutes lmao
Mad props to Retro Rick for mentioning the Payton and Kemp dynamic duo!! The Glove and the Reign Man. Bring back our Sonics!!
“Wtf!” Editor Riff
Adventures in babysitting is an underrated classic 80’s movie that typically doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s kinda the tits.
The thrill of the hunt for things you love can't be beat. Especially when you find cool things!
The reason the price is so high for the sold listings of beanie babies is because theyre bot sold listings, you can check the name of the seller, its typically one word then a couple numbers after and they have no seller history
Brian Bonsall, the kid from Disney's Blank Check, got his big break as Andy Keaton. The new addition to the Keaton's on the classic sitcom Family Ties. He went on to do several things while growing up. One notable character he played was Alexander Rozhenko in a hand-full episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation
I liked Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson!
New He-man line does look weird, having a hard time....:P
Holy crap Rick the Glove and Riegnman combo being your favorite is the coolest thing you ever said!😂😂
the kid from Blank Check was in Mikey, where he was kid killer. Underrated
just made a similar comment! that movie is awesome! im sure if you watch it now it will be cheesy but i remember watching it numerous times growing up!!
My grandmother used to own a flower shop and they sold Beanie Babies....people would line up outside an hour or more before the shop opened on the days she got her beanie babies shipment. Crazy Stuff. Kinda like gamers on midnight releases at the game stores, so I get it. Cheers!
The Trip tv show you passed up on dvd is excellent, really funny. Next time you're in pick it up, you wont be disappointed
Adventures in babysitting, one of the very few pg-13 movies with two fucks included in the film.
That movie was overrated.
Princess Diana BB ? WTF lol
Any word on retro ricks game convention? October is right around the corner and haven’t heard anything in awhile ? Can’t find tickets online or even a website
Retro Rick the hunt never ends
Hahaha capital critters was in the german tv in the 90s. The short cut of the show there was the logo of kabel 1.
That Beavis/Butthead card was a Wizard magazine freebie. Interesting to see it slabbed.
Best series yet! Other than buying that guys game barn oh and making the game barn ohh………all your videos are boss!
Oh hey thats Rogers Ark!! Go Mounties!!
Capital Critters if I remember correctly was the life of the critters who lived in the White House or something like that, just off the top of my head
My 1st born gave me that exact Packman light! It's awesome
I saw that Beanie Baby too!
Brian Bonsall did retire in 1994 from acting but came back in 2022. He's been in a punk band the Late Bloomers since he retired from acting.
I love the new intro.... Little less busy than the other one, though the 90s random shapes was cool.
And I am LOVING the little explanations for various things at the bottom.
Editor Riff must be on a Tim and Eric kick. “Where’s my chippy?!”
What a cool place!
I remember buying that Gizmo furby for my sister for Christmas at good ole KayBee Toys
HEAVILY CONTROVERSIAL.......................
pretty much all those high sales beanie baby sales are just sellers clicking that item sold, they must have lost out on a lot of money in the 90s and trying to re-inflate the market
Retro Rick advertising a security app, retro Rick 2 hours later getting hack again
Idk man you should’ve gotten that Barney puzzle after finding it for a second time lol
My parents have a Capitol Critters towel but never saw the show. Fun toys
I haven't seen capital critters in a loooonnnggg time!
What if it was "delete me" that hired someone to hack his channel...hmmmm
I thank you for making this channel you are a cool nice person 😎
100% those sold ebay listings of the Beanie Baby toys is money laundering.
"Dishes are done man"
That rat from the Capitol Critters was the voice of Chicken from Cow and Chicken?
Gizmo was a Toys R Us exclusive, I bought it when it came out and now I wish i still had my Princess Diana beanie bear
That tube case is for Skis. I don't expect southern boys to know that but wanted to educate.
I saw it and thought it was a tube for a projector screen. I used to have one like that.
Wow, elitist much? Also, there are a few places that are in the South that do get a fair bit of snow. Perhaps you have heard of the Appalachian Mountains and the Ozark Mountains? Maybe YOU ironically need the education instead?
@@paxhumana2015 elitist? You are just straight up special-ed. “Southern” refers to areas of the US closer to the equator and thus have fewer mountains to grow up skiing on. You still confused? Jog on.
Brian Bonsall played the role of the youngest brother on Family Ties alongside Michael J. Fox in the early 1980s.
Just picked myself up a lenticular puzzle of Darth Vader. Pre Disney. Can't wait to put it together and possibly hang it.
My dream candy dish is Mrs. Glick's Candy dish. It's $90 and only holds candy.
Someone missed a prime opportunity to say “mmmmm bacon” when you asked about the pig movies
i love barney as a kid
Has he never heard the line “that’ll do pig that’ll do”
I say this damn near everyday. Amazing
From what?
@@MrAndresm900 its from Babe
Capitol Critters and Fish Police were both prime time cartoons that aired in 1992... I'm assuming, cause of the popularity of The Simpsons. The Simpsons actually make fun of them in the opening of one of the Treehouse of Horrors, having the show names on tombstones.
That’s a pretty cool…..consignment shop….
And don’t forget about Karl Malone John Stockton
That kid was Andy in Family Ties.
LOL.. That was awesome.
Good video
I used to love Capitol Critters! It was a cool cartoon back in the day.
It's misprint labels on beanie babies is what I heard that makes them worth something.
Dont forget “mikey” (the blank check kid)
I watched the capitol critters cartoon. It was a series!!!
Never heard of Capital Critters gonna have to look into it and see what it’s about, It looks like it could be a good cartoon.
Blank Cheque kid.... That's the Mikey kid.
Is someone a fan of Eric Andre? Lol
I want it love the grimlins
that beanie baby worth so much my granny had it and now idk where it went :((
Definitely a riff edited video 😂
We’ll be right back 😂
To be fair that beanie baby was sold for CHARITY pricing which shouldnt be a real price to base off of. but still nuts that it "sold" for$99k USD
It's sold and bought by bot accounts, the seller always has a word then a couple numbers after as a username and zero seller history
Was this the first time there was a FIFA-game in a RetroRick’s video?
Capitol critters was short lived. Around Clinton’s first term in office. Was kinda funny. Nice character design and animation was pretty good.
Brian bonsall was on family ties before that and dyed his hair and then probably some trouble the usual Hollywood kid stuff
that little boy was in Fatherhood with Patrick Swayze and hes like a criminal and he also starred in like a TV movie called Mikey where the little boy is (messed UP!!) hes like a psycho killer..
It's Bob's bday today!!
no, no no no! Purple Diana bear is not worth money! its fluke or its a joke. I found one with out a tag one time thrifting, sold it for $8 but it sat for 3 months, I found one WITH tag, sat for 5 months, sold for $5, they are not wanted.
I was a dick when I was a kid. I hated the Tiger hand held games though they were generic af lol
How much was that TMNT clock?
RJ
5:57 games with any value Skate and need for speed underground...maybe Kinect Animals
Round about...noice
Just did a quick eBay on the gizmo and he’s going for hundreds 🥶🥶
I have the beanie babies. Only wort money if it's 1st edition.
Why would that PAC MAN wall hanging be not for sale? That’s inappropriate for any secondhand store. Some furniture they use to display the stuff for sale in vendor booths (such as some cabinets and bookcases) are always not for sale now but they always are later on.
So because it’s a second hand store they can’t have decorations to draw you in…? Got the logic I think
Bob Saget Rest in peace 🪦 😢😢
Witam oraz pozdrawiam cieplutko. Świetnie udostępnienie🙂👍
broo thats not a flea market! thats a antique store hommie
FLEA MARKET!!!!!!!!
First time to be the first to 👍
Is it a candy dish or is it a candy JAR?
YESSIIRR
Hehe I’m in the background of your ad😂
( pink shirt)
Are people ACTUALLY spending that much on Beanie Babies 😳 I remember when it was a joke to buy them
No lol it's still a joke. There are sold listing for thousands of dollars, but there are also active listings available for just a few dollars. The sold listings are fake.
@@collinf9334 How could someone put a fake sold listing on ebay? o.O (I legit don't know, wouldn't have thought that would be possible.)
How much was the Gremlin Furby?
Willies
#TeamBabe
I'm calling BS on that 99K bear!! not even saudi royalty would waste their oil cash!! lol
No more Funko Pops please.
So no lawsuit and just talking out your ass about an agreement between two companies that you know nothing about. Amazing.
Hi
Nothing about Michael screams manly...
