I was a LP user for many years. Bought the Topos 500 miles ago and love them. But, I have a pretty weird foot type....A wide plantar and a pronounced arch with 8.5, mens.

I'm actually using the Altra Timps now. They are a little more narrow around the laces and heel and have a little more cushion! They are exactly what I was looking for.

If they don’t work out for you, if I was you, I’ll look into the innovates trail. Fly G2 70 version two make sure you get version two version ones a lot cheaper but the uppers not really good. It’s like a alone pig more dear a little bit thinner fits my foot perfect Everything the grips better I always had a lot of besides, I had the same problem my foot slipping all over the place inside of that issue and I couldn’t get even a smaller one was too tight, but the innovates fit me true to size and the quality control was unbelievable. I said I always had problems with ultras in the last few years with that the mold feels dead after 100 miles, I’m a runner, so take it with a grain of salt
