Every time I watch IU’s performance with Mino I keep remember how awkward they were behind the scenes and how the they decided to high five at the end so they would seem close ( not awkward )😂
When I first saw Mino come out I was like "what is he doing there!?!"
Then I was amazed by their chemistry and how their voices compliment each others so well.
IU always has been amazing but Mino was really impressive bc its very far from his normal genre.

IU is the only Korean that I could actually listen to, I am too old for those kpop music with cheering audience and crazy dance moves. IU leans toward jazz and swing music, which is perfect. She got class and being different.
Mino and IU should definitely have another collaboration together. They are awesome. IU's sweet voice and Mino's deep voice match well. Also, I loved it when the two danced a little. I want to see IU call Mino, "OPPA".. Both of them are born in the same year but Mino's born on March while IU's born on May... so yeah ship sails hahaha

I hope IU could come closer to Mino ^ ^ btw, I'm from hong kong, I don't think people don't like IU. It's just her style is more subtle and elegant and focused more on music than "performance". People want to enjoy her singing instead of screaming for her. You can't expect people to have the same reaction on IU's performance as EXO's performance right? I just noticed that Mino (of Winner), T.O.P (of Bigbang), Mark (of Got7), and Taec (of 2PM) have this very deep and manly rapping voice. The very reason why I think they swoon a lot of fangirls. Also, when you actually look at them minus their funny and naughty side, you can feel that there's something mysterious about them when they do their performances. I don't know I just think its very unique of them.

The "Fly, Chick" makes me almost cried out. When she's singing, the emotion of her voice is really fantastic.

The thing I like about YG artists covering songs or featuring a performance is that they incorporate their artistry on it. I will forever thankful in this Friday performance, this made me IU stan as an artist. Now i am head over heals for her. She helped me get through college.

I really in love with IU singing, it is really soft and claming.. although I dnt knw the meaning of it but as a serious listener we can definitely feel what she want to convey. The real listener will not distract by anything or anyone. Because of the audiences screaming, the song is destroyed... although it is just a moment.

She inspires me singing and she has a lot of charisma on stage, it shows how she smiles and even she doesn't she's atill charismatic and I really appreciate her because of her touching voice, real inatuments, orchestre(don't know how to write that) and a bit simple style, can't really say that she's simple because for me she's in hogh level and everything is professional. I get that non-Korean kpop fans may not have realised the point of Shin HaeChul's song, or the event of his passing, but it was so fucking annoying when they started screaming whenever one of their idol 'oppas' came on screen. This is why MAMA should be held in Korea - it's a fucking award show for Korean artists, I don't get the point of it being held overseas all the time. Shin HaeChul should've gotten more respect than Chinese tweens thinking that it was lame having IU on stage (judging from the explanation comments on this page) or screaming their heads off for their dreamy oppas who are showing respect by listening to the dedication. This was a goddamned tribute to a brilliant, well respected and much loved artist. This man was a significant figure in the history of Korean music industry, and while his genre may not have been k-pop, his influence on the music/cultural/social scene contributed to the existence of your dreamy oppas.

I loved the second song and its such a pity that I can't even know who the singer is bcs he already gone. The song he made is 100% pure and I cry everytime I heard it. The meaning is so deep even tho its a "small" thing for some ppl and IU is bringing the emotion of the song more than well. I can feel that every breath and every notes she took have a soul. As a BIGBANG fan/ fan of hip-hop, I've got to say IU has the best voice in Korea, better than Ailee.

Of course the audience isn't going to scream during her performance. It's not that kind of performance where you want to get up and dance. It's a performance that makes you want to just sit, relax and enjoy the music and IU's sweet and gentle voice.
