Can the device be used also as automatic data logger like the actisense W2K-1?

No the data logging feature of our NAVLink2 is just designed for short term diagnostics and is recorded straight to a text file that the browser downloads. There is no SD Card storage or software for visualizing the logged data.

hi Nick . i have the Nomad mobile system.
i’m waiting for the iPhone app ‘update’ that
will enable changing the programmed;
MMSI / Call sign ; on Nomad ; between charters
& switching to silent mode when needed ..
[ currently i have to use a laptop to do this ]
is this iphone app available yet or any news when it will be ?
