hi friend ,,, have you ever experienced a failure when brazing and the gold also melted? when I work on the 50% level, it happens that I often experience.
I've watched you other gold ring video and I recently melted down 23g of gold and made 2 wedding bands for our 50th Anniversary. I will be setting 5 - 3mm diamonds in each; but first I'm wanting to texture & My question to you is: what tool to use; is it something I need to buy, or is it the technique that I use with my burrs in a flex shaft? Also, do you have another video that focuses on this technique. I await your reply... Happy New Year!🎊

You misunderstood. I know how to set diamonds.... I’m asking about the graving technique that you did. I’m wanting to add some texture, Before, I set the stones.
Oh right we just use a dremel or a tool to give it some texture
After you heat the gold up what is the powder you put it in and then water and what does the powder do?
Powder is ammonium chloride. Gives back the colour to the gold after heating it
@@TheJewelleryWorkshop oh ok, I once took a chain to be fixed and they said it went into acid to get the colour back. Your floors must be covered in gold😂

@@TheJewelleryWorkshop its no joke here in holland i ordered a gold chain for the second time and I am not looking at my neck it getting dark and irritating, so once again I lost money on cheap gold,I was to give this to someone special good thing I checked it first she would think I am a fraud with her giving her false gold
