I actually purchased this case for one of my G-Kids and I really didn't notice the Express slots until you pointed it out. I totally agree that the way this case has it set up is a game-breaker. (One-time build indeed). Presently they are running graphics off the CPU so I wasn't concerned, but at some point, they will probably need a dedicated card and I'm dreading it. Sadly, I was in the process of getting an identical case for my secondary rig and now thinking heavily against it. As you stated, it does have a lot of positives, though.
I built my first pc just today using this case and I made a lot of mistakes but one of them is about that 2 pin cable that says fan. Where would I plug that into because I don’t see any 2 pin slots on my motherboard (B550M DS3H)?
You went over this case pretty well. I bought this case off Craigslist list and unfortunately it's missing a side glass panel and front panel screw and I also gotta replace the hdd activity light but other then that it's a decent case but I agree with everything you said about the case though.
Hey, nice job on this vid. So, how did you connect the fan hub to the motherboard? I'm having a similar problem. Wish you had explained in more detail. Thanks.
I bought the same exact case for my PC build even though two elements were bad. I mean, for a first build the specs were all good until you considered the CPU and GPU chosen. Ryzen 5 1600 and, first GPU ACQUIRED, GTX 460. I've since upgraded to a Ryzen 5 3600 and in RX 570, but it doesn't play modern AAA titles. And I lost the aRGB case fan controller. I'll have that end of July. If I win bids on eBay I'll have a decent GPU and a Ryzen 7 3700x. If all I win is the RX 5700xt I'm sure that'll be more than enough to improve my situation, but even a GTX 2050ti is and improvement as long as it has 8gb gddr5.
Hey, I know I'm a little late here but did you ever find out what the significance of that 3-pin cord with the other one on the fan hub was ?? Or can I just leave those cables unplugged and just use the SATA for power?
I THINK (I didn't try it, but I've seen it set up that way on other builds), it allows for fan speed control (or at least monitoring) through the hub, I just left it unplugged on my build and the fans were not very noisy at all.
@@matthewdelgado7515 SATA for sure, RGB depends on how you want to control your RGB, through the button on the front I/O Panel or through motherboard software. The fan header is, eh whatever.

Just built a PC for a customer using this case, the only con i agree with is the hard drive. And its only an issue if you have to later replace the hard drive with is not a common thing to do if you buy good hardware. I test fit the MB before screwing it in, So i can plan cable routing before hand and when possible i will pull cables through cut outs before installing MB. So clearance was a non issue with this case. The sliding slot cover is better then the majority i've see on the market and i had no issues with clearance on a 3080 RTX so I'm not sure what you mean by clearing higher end GPUs. This is coming from someone who has been building PCs since monochrome CRT, VESA local bus and SCSI were main stream
I also install PSU cable first, but I just found the cable routing passthrough holes to be smaller than competing cases, and it was a pain to get the connectors through. The MSI 1070 Ti I built this system with was just NOT having it when it came time to install. Sure, that particular slider panel wasn't the worst slider panel, but I personally don't like that system, feels cheap to me and I prefer interior mounted screws.
First time builder. On the bottom near the panel connectors it says fan but I’m unsure where to plug it looks too tiny to plug into the bigger slots for fans
Everyone buys the 907 and I'm not sure why. The MU3 is basically the same as a Corsair 465X and seems to be the better deal. I wanted a Thermal Take View 51 or 465X but found these at a much better price ($79 with 6 fans) and couldn't bring myself to spend another $100+ on a minor aesthetic improvement.
I've got that case but it's on the floor under a desk so visuals are whatever. I just put the drives in and didn't screw anything in. Fans are quiet my board doesn't see the fans so they run at one speed and it's very quiet.
I just built in this case, only i had the rgb glow fans. Still need help understanding how to power the fan hub from the mobo. I used SATA, but its my first rgb rig so meh...My biggest gripe was the magnetic top filter. My fans are set to exhaust so the filter makes absolutely no sense, unless you plan to use your pc as an air purifier
I think the top dust filter is there to prevent dust from getting inside when the PC is powered off but also to allow for ample exhaust flow when the PC is running.
So I have been wanting this case for my first pc build but I do have a question. You said it has a fan hun already so does that mean I will only need to use 1 fan port on my motherboard or do I still have to buy a fan hub? My motherboard has 3 fan slots
The included hub does allow for one single connection for RGB control (3 pin on mine). If memory serves the way I configured this case, the fans were powered through a SATA cable, so basically no fan RPM control.
This case isn't anything special. Any good PC DIY vid will get you 95% of what you need. Only thing that's even slightly specific to this case is the case fan and RGB control.
