I just picked up my first Guerlain. L'Homme Idéal Extrême and it is absolutely beautiful. The leather and spices are so balanced and perfect together. I get hints of a sweet, resin vibe to it as well. I have been eyeing the Vetiver and Habit Rouge Parfum, which I will probably pick up as well. The Scent Elixir is a masterpiece to me.
I agree. I have two samples and will either get a full bottle or opt for Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir. I feel they are similar apart from the tobacco note which the Hugo Boss doesn't have.
Prada ocean le parfum has a beautiful rich amber drydown with you’re right a touch of pure havane . Can’t believe it’s a prada must be a different perfumer behind this prada fragrances are usually dull linear and uninspiring 🤣 this could pass as a Tom Ford !
Good question Michael, I find them similar in profile however the new Parfum added a nice boozy-rum accord to it making it not redundant in my opinion...
There is a slight similarity with SWY - however, Vivo leans more mature and more refined (less sweet) - dries down to a fine-spicy boozy leather accord. I'm really enjoying it!
I disagree actually in terms of your take on luna rossa ocean le parfum, while the opening is very similar to pure havane, the dry down is WAY more similar maybe even 1 to 1 (at least to my nose and on my skin) to burberry london
