  • Hey everybody! Here's a first look at Grocery Store Simulator, now available on Steam! You can find it here: store.steampowered.com/app/29...
Outro music was provided to CZcams by The Orchard Enterprises, courtesy of the Royalty Free Music Crew. • Country Highway
From the Steam description: "Run your own grocery store. Scan items, place and stock shelves, set prices, order products, manage your warehouse, and customize your store. Play solo or team up with friends in a 4 player co-op mode to expand your business in this first-person game."
We're back in the supermarket business, but this time we're not in the bustling city. Instead, we're out in the middle of nowhere with a great reputation that causes people to come from miles away to shop at our wonderful store that we can even name!
No window chicken, though. So the game's already behind the 8-ball. 🤣
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching!

I have to say, the dumpster filled with trash right outside the front door is a good move.

i wonder if you fill the shelves before the product runs out, that the price will remain the same as you set it, maybe

That's correct... the price doesn't revert back unless the shelf empties out. That still puts a lot of pressure on to make sure the shelf doesn't run out. 🙂

I think the extra registers is because you can have up to four people working in the store you and three friends

Yup, that makes sense. I think it's on the roadmap to add employees from what I recall seeing on the load screen.

Yup, I think we'll be back at the beat-down later. They've added some stuff since the last time that we were there, and it's been a while since we punched somebody. 🤣

There are a couple of other ones out there right now on the channel, one called Internet Cafe & Supermarket Simulator 2024 and then the ever-famous Supermarket Simulator which pretty much put the channel on the map. 😁

Cool idea. But the game itself needs some polishing.

Yeah, it’s a bit rough on the edges. It’ll be interesting to see where things go with it.

My biggest problem with this game and the other is that ONLY America and Canada use 25c coins. Pretty much every other country uses 20c coins. That's pretty unnatural for most of the world. Could you PLEASE provide the option to use 20c coins instead of 25c coins? You're only providing for the smaller half of the world with 25c coins... I'd love to buy this game - while both games need polish in different areas, it seems to have some better features than the other one, but while it has such narrow country limited coin usage, stupidly limited playability for only two countries on earth, this game (and the other game) is a hard "no" for me.
Other than stuff that the video mentioned, my other criticism is that the wooden boxes, which get thrown in the dumpster seem odd. Wooden boxes would be returned to the supplier. Boxes that should be thrown away in a dumpster should be paper boxes. A nice feature I haven't seen in either game is that what USUALLY happens with used boxes is that they get folded flat and placed in a pile. Then when the pile gets large we carry them out in bulk, or better still call a recycle truck to pick them up (more natural, particularly for larger stores). Perhaps the game could allow us to fold a box flat when it's empty and provide a "holding" place to put them temporarily in the storeroom. That would be so much more realistic.
