    I hate to say it, but Hermes doesn’t have a problem getting their product to the people whom they want to have it. They make it impossible for us to get their product, but yet we’re trying damn hard to purchase their product that sets us back thousands of dollars. Why do we want that for ourselves?

      I totally agree. I’d love to have one bag from the brand but the games they play just put me off 😫

    I think in Paris all of the sales associated work in their own departments. Like a silks SA will only sell scarves and if you ask to see a necklace they need to get a new SA to serve you for that. I recon the SAs you asked upstairs worked in women's footwear and checked the stocks of women footwear. Then when you went down stairs you were talking to a men's footwear SA who got you the shoes from the men's stock.

    Ick- I literally never want to experience Hermes. I’ve heard similar stories from several others! Anyways- your shoes are fabulous and congrats on the sweet baby. I love your videos!

    The men's products are a very important category including the shoes vs the women's shoes. It's super competitive. Glad you got the ones you wanted in the end ❤

    Paris was giving, you’re glowing 😍✨. Thanks for sharing your experience, it does make you question the brand and the type of employees they hire. I think it does also have to do with not fitting in their category they like, they just say no.

    Hi Jo, I love the chat you had in this video. So sorry about your experience and as you were describing it, I said “clique-y” then in the end, you said the “you can’t sit with us” which describes it perfectly! They definitely hire people that are rude/nasty and can uphold that cliquish behavior which you rightfully said isn’t luxury. I’m happy you had a good experience with the one rep that let you try it and I think I learned persistence because you could have taken the first no and walked away. Anyways, I’m sure you’ll find brands you truly love that treat you well.
    Thanks for sharing this with us.

    I am glad you find one that you like but your experience with them in my opinion wasn’t a great one. It makes me question their intentions or even purely racism. Sorry my opinion and I am so sorry that you even have to deal with their nonsense.

      @jadagore Před rokem +1

      I agree sounds like racism experience , Josephine you are paying with your hard earned money. Challenge this with management for the sake of other customers of colour as well, to minimise going through this. Shame on them, glad you are OK, thanks for sharing x

      @JosephineBongani  Před rokem +2

      Hey I can’t say whether racism plays into it, as a couple of SA’s I spoke to in Paris were black. I think it’s a combination of a few things and maybe I’m just not the ideal Hermes customers. I just want to share my experience as I hope it gives others insight into the games they play. Thanks for watching 🥰

      @@JosephineBongani ah OK, very strange though how they don't want customers to buy the product. I admire your patience with the games they play. I remember walking out of Jamie Olivers restaurant at Stratford because the waitress couldn't be bothered to give us good service. Went next door to levi roots and the service was impeccable. He even popped in randomly and came to our table to say hello.
      We work too hard for our money to deserve this. Fingers crossed for you with the bag😘

    I wanted to buy sandals from Hermes but your experience has put me off. I want to shop from a brand that gives you the luxury experience and values you. It’s giving racism, it’s giving you can’t sit with us.

      I’m not sure if racism played into it. A couple of the SA’s who I spoke to were black. I think you should still go into store, you might have a different experience to me x
