I would love to see a comic where the three Links come across a very large camp of Bokoblins and begin wondering what to do about it... all the while Wild switches into the Stealth Suit and begins murdering all the Bokoblins in their sleep... and Time and Twilight just watch in horror. Really, seeing some more antics where Wild changes cloths to handle a situation, and seeing the other two's reaction would be really neat.

It would be funnier if they tried making him do that when it’s raining. So he refuses at first because it’s slippery. Then does so later when it’s dry and they can’t find him.
What about AoL Link? He's got a much better jump than Wild.

Zelda 2 Link can not only jump, but has Jump magic to jump even higher.
Oracle link can jump too. Hell he eventually even learns how to fly and is best friends with a kangaroo, a dinosaur that swims, and a giant blue flying bear.
That's Past, he can jump in Link's Awakening with the Roc's Father too.

The one from Zelda 2 can Jump too, but he had to go through the first game to do that. He had to EARN the skill.
There were various items that allowed link to jump whenever he wants (like in Minish Cap or Link's Awakening)

Legends can jump on command with a rock feather. Minish can jump on command (and glide) with the rock cape. All 3d links can jump sideways or do a backward salto, and they all have a jump attack

Hey now, Awakening, Seasons, and Ages (possibly all the same guy) can jump using the Roc's Feather, and Seasons also gets the Roc's Cape which lets him jump and glide.

Actually, that's Zelda 2. Yes, Wild can jump, but in reference to Samurai Jack's "jump real good," Zelda 2 Link learns Jump spell, which can transform his jump into a super high jump.

Wild can also fly with glider, and with an exploit, he can launch himself up to the sky.
The only downside of jumping freely is that the penalty is fall damage.

Link could jump all the way back in Link's Awakening. It's an item that lets you do it, but you can jump whenever you like with it. He could also jump in Legend of Zelda II, but only in the side view sections.

I think it was a tradition to make hard to make jumps in open world games, nowadays they all get new series with free jumping. Zelda, Elden Ring
Most of them can jump whenever they want, they just have to do it while moving backwards or sideways. Sometimes with a flip. They can also go forwards if they use their sword. Only one so far can just jump straight up whenever he wants though.
2D exclusives are kind of screwed though.
Links forgot about Adventure and jumping above his own head height without items or spells.
Not only that, but he can climb.
Now I need a Battle Royal with them all showcasing strongest in game build. TOTK(wild) is op

Wild is... Not first link to jump though. Granted the Links before needed Rox's feather. But they can jump on demand.
Those aren't even the first ones to jump, the first one was Link from Zelda 2, he doesn't need any items to jump but i guess no one remembers him because Zelda 2 kinda sucks.
