Yeah Aisha Tyler doesn't banter much with the performers and vice versa. This is probably because she doesn't know them that well. She may do it more as she gets more comfortable in her role. Or it may not be her style. I miss Drew Carey making fun of Ryan Styles' ugly shoes and Colin Mochrie's baldness and the rest of the cast making fun of Drew right back.

The reason why is the producers came out and told them they weren't ALLOWED to do that.
I think it was during a game of "Unlikely Roommates" and somebody from the audience suggested "Cosby and Hitler".
Everybody lost it and was laughing. The producer was like "hold please" and told them they couldn't do it. This ACTUALLY made it into the actual episode for some reason as I remember seeing it on ABC Family with this part.
So, for the rest of the show (including this Scenes with a Hat), they kept making Cosby and Hitler jokes just to piss off the producers for trying to stop them from using it in an earlier game. Comedians don't like being told they can't make jokes out of things so they will just keep doing it anyway to spite them.
