Koi Pond Emergency, This was a close call

- So I came home from work on Friday and found one of my koi in a bit of a situation!

Wowsers Matt, what were the chances. That's really a miracle that it all happened at the right time, if there was going to be a " right time " . That said, he's looking pretty strong in your quarantine pond, and hopefully the salt works it's magic. My pond fish have certainly come to life over the last couple of weeks and I've started feeding them again now. They had no food at all since the middle of November. Good to see you again buddy !

Good save mate, carp as a species are pretty resiliant, and can survive out of the water for quite a while, it's often the physical injuries more than being out of the water that's worse.
Apart from a few missing scales he seems to have got off lightly so hopefully he will make a full recovery 👍

My Karashigoi jumped out last summer Matt, he's still get the war wounds to prove it. I've said it before mate, fish are idiots, they'll jump in the worst places 😂😂
