Mate the main guy behind Ellende (pronounced Ellen de i believe) is amazing. Lukas Gosch he plays all instruments writes the music and lyrics and also does all the cover art!

With Harakiri for the Sky and Karg they are currently one of my favourite bands...awesome art and music!

I had a very similar reaction to the song and video when watching it for the first time. All the awful stuff we humans do as a species on this planet is devastating but the fact that the video brought it right back into nature and animals thriving without us, and everything will be ok really touched me. An absolutely crushingly beautiful song and video.

Ellende is one of my favourite bands since years and I had the pleasure to see them live last year before the pandemic at a small festival and the concert was just hypnotic, you really felt the music and it was just amazing

This is such a great Band. I would love to see you react to "Der Blick wird leer" from Ellende's "Lebensnehmer" - Album

Thank you for introducing me to this band. I wouldn't consider myself a black metal head by any means, but I love this song. I think you should check out Grima, they are an atmospheric black metal band from Russia. Their song 'Enisey' is imo a good introduction to the band, but they don't really have a bad song, so it doesn't matter which one you pick. Also, they have released a new album earlier this year.

@@77blacktrip I think I prefer all those bands, especially Austere for a similar style. Anything "post" rarely does it for me because it rarely seems to have the black metal part down enough to expand on it.

He has such a skill, every song feels like a journey through all of the emotions. I don't think there's anyone doing it like Ellende at the moment. Gaerea possibly on the same wavelength, but not on this level.
