@@toxicmail1482 I hate to kick away your soap box, but as a 51 year old who's been into punk much longer than you have, the kid only commented on the music itself. You brought your own baggage to the discussion. Personally, I'm glad that young people are still discovering Milo Goes to College. I also think it's inevitable. Great music will always find its audience, regardless of how the culture changes around it. Braiden has my respect. I suggest you take a page out of his book and just appreciate the music.

I'm 40 and this was one of my favorite albums through the entire 90s! And I remember it all
i could recite the entire Two Things at Once cd, The entire Angry Samoans Unboxed set..including every Yeah! and YeahBaby! (theres almost 40 throughout the 3 albums and ep! and Hank Wood & the Hammerheads, only 3 years old, every word and Uhh!! probably others, but those are a breeze. Track down the one outtake, "Like The Way I Know", its from this album sessions and this lineup which was never duplicated again. Shoulda been on Milo Goes To College, and is good as any song on it!

I love the decendents been listening to them for years..i even like their newer more polished stuff too,but this album is a classic.
It's good to see a person explain what they've got so someone who is more interested can spend the time to find more from the band.
I have to say, ive listened to this album hundreds of times and this version with the tracks you took off is kind of perfect. Like i love those tracks but theyre sort of the perfect ones to leave off to give the closest to perfect condensed version of this album. Its really fucking smooth and sweet like this!

One of my fav album from my teen years, me and my friend pumped this one up as we would hang out all night drinking coffee like them (I was still under 18), I drank a few times but I was still smart enough not to party too much at the wrong age (Wrongage that could be a song of theirs), before our newspaper deliveries during the lazy summers between school, now I really hate coffee but that really short album is best blend of hardcore and pop-punk ever.
I respect how responsible you were. To many youths piss it away in a blur of drugs. A little can be ok but excess is just wasteful.

@@lucasbrucas9632 Well let me tell ya, if you drink coffee like the Descendents did, it's as bad long term as anything. Bill Stevenson (amazing guy, drummer and Propagandhi albums producer, at least from 2005-2012) had heart surgery due to drinking 15 large espressos a day for decades. Descendents are well known for coffee abuse and joking about it. But thanks, I waited until I was in university to do the drinkin' the acid and the weed smokin'. Now 13 years later after finishing up my master's, I keep to weed, barely drink at all, plus it's legal now up here.

Ah thanks man, nah this is the only one I've got, I bought it when I was 16 and just never got around to actually buying their other albums. That's the thing with me man, lately I'll get into a band and really soak up all their albums, instead of just buying different albums. Right now I'm exploring Radiohead, Pearl Jam, and The Doors. So that's keeping me really busy / preoccupied. Sorry man, but I'll be sure to put more up, as soon as I get to my local record store, kind of tight on cash now.

@@hectorhellcat7783 Over the years I’ve grown into appreciating and enjoying them, but I don’t listen to them religiously. I went down their rabbit hole in my early twenties, and most of their songs impress me. But my musical gaze widened a few years ago, and I just lost touch during the King of Limbs.
When I listen to them now, I want to hear specific songs, because that song will evoke something cathartic. And it’s also partly me trying to avoid their more depressing works...unless I happen to be feeling down. But even then, 9 times out of 10, I’d rather remedy my depression by refocusing it; giving myself a musical kick or jolt of some sort. To do that I usually turn on some Fugazi.

@MusicGuy7899 i would but thats what everyone does, and they sound just as good as my copy, maybe better. Plus i figured some people would wanna listen to it all the way through without constantly clicking on other vids, while they're doin other stuff on the net. But I know it's frustrating to not hear the other songs, fuckin youtube has to have a 15 minute limit, missed the mark by 5 minutes. It's times like these when i wish i would have joined a long ass time ago
