fnaf based producer career u so goated for that
As someone who thinks about music from more of an emotional “feeling” standpoint rather than a technical “follow rules” view, your videos just scratch the itch. Thank you for being you Alex. 🙌🎶🎧
"That is a whole song! Like... yeah!!!" 😂 I love it Alex, thanks!

This was amazing. Thanks.
Thx for this awesome lession. I'll give this a try on my next track. 🙏
Amazing video man! You really deserve more subs and views
You just took me to another dimension with these gorgeous sounds. I am literally going to take what you've shared and use it. I'm actually looking to make a bunch of EDM tunes so.... Hahaha to infinity and beyond! Thanks for this, so glad I caught wind of you just when I'm getting back into producing. I'm a self taught producer and a long time singer/artist manager so I'm super stokked the fire has sparked again. JUst in time!
Awesome tutorial . I hope you make more in future just like this one . Short lesson for 5 sounds and easy to remember ;)
Thank you Alex for keeping It simple, you are a good teacher and I understand a lot thanks your explanations!! That needs a lot of work and sometimes I lose my patience and give up.. but your videos always give me an extra motivation 😅😅😅
Geniales Video. Jetzt habe ich die Grundzüge von Serum verstanden, den ich seit kurzer Zeit mein Eigen nennen darf.

The first sound with that cutoff effect is so Deadmau5'y :D
Simple Tricks in Serum result in awesome sounds. Thanks for the hints!
awesome tutorial, thank you
Thanks Alex
SUCH an amazinh producer and a great guy
These are all gems❤
I love this dude ❤😂
Useful information 👍
Thank you
Thanks so much for making this video Alex! It’d be awesome if you could make a video with this same concept except for future bass!
Very good!!👏👏
Thank you! 🙂
I love the loose pad! 😍😍
so far I've always shyed away from sound design, because I don't understand Synths that much and thought it will be much easier/faster to just use proven presets.
but damn, you just opened my eyes to so many possibilities - thanks big time, Alex! ✨🙌
Thank u man !
This is so fire
Thank you. I will use these techniques in my future songs. I don't have serum, but I have sylenth and recently got massive on a huge discount. That combined with vital, sytrus, GMS and some other new free synths installed will be a great practice session.. I have some AIR Music synths as well and recently realized they are awesome (plus they always have discounts going on)..
Thanks!
Hey Alex, I am Alex too😊… Best video and best tutorial. That’s exactly what I looked for!
Beautiful
thank you❤
Funny, I used Vital, and found, playing along with you, that, first part, when you go up the keyboard the pad gets less harmonics ('advanced' tab, or spectrum), so the sound characteristic changes, but when you add key tracking, the harmonics stay the same. Now 'key tracking' has a face for me ;-)
"That is a twerker!" - Alex Rome
No bullsh*t, 100% knowledge, 20% improvement 🔥
Very good video
Thank you! (from a guitar player who knows almost nothing of synths)
I did not expect your voice to sound like that. After listening to you I was like actually this guy sounds familiar.. and then it hit me.. you sound a lot like Coffeezilla! lol I don't have Serum but thanks for the tips!
Pls make more serum soun design tutorial 💯
Love that Serum VST, ive been using the stock ableton wavetable, serum seems superior
serum is too good. been revolutionizing edm those past years.
v. helpful. like to make my own synths, so this will help!
Мало встречается роликов с наглядным примером синтеза👍
Why does this man not have more subscribers?
Niiiiice! Thanks for the great video.
What about 10 sounds every advanced producer should know how to make as a follow up? ;)
Nice tutorial. You make it easy to understand. But I think there is one essential sound missing: The synth piano.
nice
I see you have a scatter box. Interesting!!
So helpful! And you kind of remind me of megamind! haha
Love from India
Even David Guetta Watches Alex Rome's videos
Sound design series?
Great tutorial!
But I have different sound with the same settings. How is this possible?
Your Warm Tight Pad sounds like some Deadmau5 intro, mine sounds crappy.
Alex rome how is you? I listened to a song called anxiety by coileray and it had an effect on it but I kindly request you to build a tutorial on that 🙂
Someone is nicking your traffic . I found an alex rome topic channel
Hi Awesome video Alex, I had some trouble with the first sound. Not getting the same sound quality, mine sounds extremely muddy... Can it be the 88key keyboard I'm using?
thanks for the masteerclass!
can you explain technically what "unison" is??
You take a sample, copy it and slightly change the pitch of that copy. The slight mismatch in pitch gives more "volume" (not loudness/amplitude) and can be used for increasing stereo width. You can do this as much as you want, but with too many copies the sound gets very muddy, so use in moderation.
All DAWs these days should have a plugin for this by now.
This is also how pianos and 12 guitars get their sound: several strings are tuned to the same note, but with tiny deviations.
