I have this model of G-shock since 2007 ish when I was still a kid and didn’t know about the Auto light function until now! This really is a very good timepiece, been through many important exams with this watch and only changed its battery once after all these years!
I bought this one a few weeks ago. It's a nice looking watch but nothing fancy. My new favorite is the G Shock Gulfman. So beautiful and so feature filled.
It looks retro and the red button with all the casio texts makes it so unique and special. It's an all around tough watch that you don't want to change anything on it. Probably a chrome/silver bullbar can give it an even tougher look.
I have the GW-9000A, the old "5 eyed monster". Atomic/Solar. I've beat the crud out of that thing. Love the caseback design designating the features. Mine has a mole (mudman ), wearing sunglasses (solar), holding a satellite dish (Atomic ).
They do. GW-9010. You can find them used in good condition on ebay for about $130. New ones are more like 250. The display is different but the watch body itself is the same.
Hello; I know this video is old but hope someone advises I bought one 5 months ago the watch is awesome in terms of design and weight ; dimensions are amazing it's not considered a huge G lately when I ride my bike or when I try to clean it of dirt with tap water (considerably cold) the watch fogs up i took it back to official casio agent where I bought it, they lubricated the seals of the button and the back (as they said) but the problem persisted then I took it back for the second time and they replaced the whole case (bezel) but still if cold water touches the crystal or I ride my bike (watch is exposed to breeze) the watch fogs up the thing is that the the fog disappears after a while but is this supposed to happen?
What does the “V” stand for, and are these some of the most popular gshock watches. Because if I find a watch that’s not to massive and I like it, I like to have them for years hahah Hopefully they never discontinue this watch

5610 is not available in my country , (India) also I guess it has atomic timing which I really don't need and I don't think they work here anyways , was really digging the dw 5600bb 1 but that too is not available here that is the watch which made me interest in the squares at the first place , it's all black with a negative display .
It is time-consuming to do properly but painting those red buttons yellow to match the screen text makes the watch BURST INTO LIFE. 💛💛 I highly recommend it💛💛
Depends. Normal non abusive use should last years. Sun and salt (or pool chemicals) will break it down. My neighbor broke his band off within a year, that was rough use.
Mine is about 3 years with plenty life left. I don't wear very often but my 16 year old son wore for about 6 months straight, that was a pretty good test. He is very active and doesn't care about the watch at all cause it's dads. Haha
yes it does you have to hold the reset/split button top right until it flashes and then you can tilt to light up. it turns off after a few hours to conserve battery.
Mine is a POS it fogged up. I got it replaced and the new one fogs up as well. Just with normal wear in the Pacific Northwest rainy environment. Don’t recommend it to anyone.

Ever try the 9300 mudman? I like the compass and thermometer features. The strap conforms to the wrist really well too.
The nubs on the back are ideal for wrinsing dirt and or mud out from under the watch so you dont get chafed.
I paid $81.25 at a Texas walmart. Module No.3031 the tag said $72.? But after the TAX, it was 81.25. :( got the watch, im happy, but my wife isnt.

It's not solar so assuming you don't run the light like crazy probably will be good for 3 years or so.
