Second Peter 1:19 says, "And we have the prophetic word made more firm, to which you do well to give heed as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts."
At a conference in the spring of 2017, we ran into brother M. C. in an elevator. Knowing that we write music, he said, "We should collaborate sometime." A few days later, he sent us a poem expressing the believers’ longing for the Lord’s appearing as the morning star and asked if we could compose music for it. H. J. of @Melody of Lilies wrote a tune, and this hymn is the result!
This recording is a remix of the recording that we've had up on our SoundCloud channel for a couple of years. We also arranged a rendition of this song for NYCYPCD‘s 2018 album, "Just As I Am."

This is such a beautiful song. I listened to the NYCYPCD version first since that was available first.

Amen sister we really touch your testimony.. Amen even my daughter 11 years old and my son 1 year and 10 mos. Always sings the songs you composed and we also pray that we are always in the spirit. And can we make a request... Can you please kindly put some chords in description box because my daughter wants to know the chords. And if you have a time by God's grace please make a spiritual songs for kids with attractive pics... Amen sister...likes abcds and 123 and shapes with spiritual songs amen...
