What sprocket setup are you using?
14/38 with a DID O-ring chain. Stock chains are junk, wish I had replaced mine right out of the gate.

Not sure but wondering if the clutch issues you were concerned about, it may be cause you’ve failed to remove the front reflectors? Lol 😂

Neither the rear sprocket nor the chain you linked will fit the 2022 Grom. They are both for the previous gen. This bike needs a 108 link chain, not 106, and bigger mounting holes on the rear sprocket.

its a lot quieter cause D.I.D chains have o rings that las tlonger and make the chain quieter

No bullshit when I down shift my 22 with the exact same set up going from 3rd gear to 2nd gear and let the clutch out slowly I get the exact same noise. I’ve adjusted the clutch cable and checked the clutch,springs,lifter plate still can’t find the issue.

Normal bikes would be a speedo healer. Not sure if they make them for groms

I think on ur clutch it sounds like ur chain is trying to pop off
What made you want to get another 38 for the rear?they are stock 38 on the 22s so U could have kept it stock as long as you keep that 420 chain

@@TTorres1183 I feel that, for the longest time i had thought they were 34 like the old gens then found out they are different and now a 38, i just got some today at 14 40 down 1 up 2 with the hopes il be able to get more oompf cause im a big ass dude stuntin a little ass bike lol

Online says stock rear sprocket is 34t. I have 14/36 on my bike.
What year is yours?

Normally means your clutch cable ain’t adjusted right

@@TTorres1183 u probably figured it out already but I had the same problem with the clutch ”shaking” the teeth either on one of the plates is misaligned I took the clutch apart and reassembled the basket outside the engine and put it back in

@@TTorres1183 yea after installing the clutch back in I jus had to re-adjust the clutch cable cuz I ended up wit a lil more slack

Hopefully the proper oil was used (wet clutch). Other than that, you should tighten up the slack at the lever or below just to make sure the clutch disengages with the lever pulled in. If that's cool then I would check clutch plates for misalignment, damage etc. All I got. All I know.
Next thing I know to do is it pull the clutch plates…
