Even before electric cars were widespread, he was driving hybrids. If you see early Curb he’s driving a Toyota Curb. You can track all the years on Curb for his cars. It’s like a background storytelling in itself.

Larry and JB will go down in history as one of the greatest comedic duos, with Lemmon and Matthau, or Arthur and White.
I've always noticed how many different cars he's had in the show. Its at least been a different one every season.
He drove a Prius for quite awhile, before that he had a Lexus GS, then he moved to a Ford Escape hybrid, then a newer Prius, BMW i3, an i8 for a day, an Audi etron and a BMW iX. His friends also have electric cars, Ted drove a Tesla (which apparently Larry drives irl) and last week I saw him getting out of a Cadillac Lyriq on the show. Jeff’s driven a bunch of grey SUVs, a BMW 7 series and a ‘57 Chevy that Larry wrecked. There’s a general theme of hybrid/electric cars.

Bill Harder said JV would have the funniest ideas when they did the sit down for SNL. One time he brought up the pee detective. He solved crime by tasting pee. JV doing it was hilarious.
None of JVs ideas for on SNL. Larry casts him and all his ideas are gold. SNL isn’t about comedy anymore.

The last episode should have Robert Downey Jr playing his Tropical Thunder roll as JB therapist for his sex addiction! Larry could pull it off but the networks won't I'm sure. JB is the best in character actor I've seen in years. Love the back and forth with him and Larry. Great show

His (actual) wife was the true environmentalist. She exposed GE for dumping PCB’s in the Hudson River. That’s why Cheryl in the show wouldn’t let Larry do anything with NBC…owned by GE at the time.

So Hollywood gets to shame me for driving my 2010 F-150 which is deemed a gas guzzler. Yet, Larry is responsible for 10x the damage to the environment from mining 850 metric tons of ore to produce enough lithium for 6 electric cars. Out of touch.
