I don't get how people put Rainbow tour as the most tired/worst vocally. I'm pretty sure this is by far the least lipped tour minus Daydream and Music Box, and everything but upper belts and confidence were on point
@@touka7317 thats what i meant... because her televised performance arent that great in1999, so some people decided to think that the rainbow tour is bad as well... in 2000 she was close to her second prime which were from 2001-2004... so i think her rainbow tour in 2000 are great...

They think Rainbow Tour sucked because with the handful of footages we got, Mariah was evidently tired & dodging all the big notes most of the time. There's literally only one exception (Milan). Can't deny though, this period was great for her tone, agility, musicianship, and I really loved her vibrato. The barely-attempting-notes part is what puts this era far back vocally. Even TAOM had more attempts.
I think this night is one of my favorite Mariah's vocals ever!! She never sounded like this in her career, so different and raw, but refined at the same time.
Did any of you buy Trey Lorenz's story? He's one heck of a vocalist and what more can I say about Madam Carey. It's so great that she rested before this show!
