In Japan, many people have a tradition of eating KFC chicken at Christmas.

I think that there's not even one Serbian restaurant nor Balkan in Japan, but maybe am wrong. Lol.. If you're bored, do some research, maybe there's after all. 😊 I think that you would love to try some Serbian food samurai. ❤️👍

Hits different. The chickens are just raised higher quality than most of the rest of the world if not the best.
Japanese KFC (or should I say Kenta) looks so much better than ours. That buffet looks incredible!

I remember being surprised by the biscuit at KFC in Japan when I had one - the biscuits from the US are more buttery in comparison, and have no hole! Many people have sweet toppings such as honey butter, jam, chocolate gravy, or molasses, but many people I know have them with savoury toppings such as butter or gravy - both ways to eat them are popular. Many places in the US also serve biscuits with fillings (like sandwiches), such as bacon, egg, cheese, sausage, chicken, steak, and more! That being said, I loved Japan KFC in comparison, as the ingredients seemed much more fresh than those used at KFC in US, and you have more specials and unique items, like the Choco Pie (that looks so good!!).

I remember a buffet KFC in Manitoba. The locals would just eat the skin and leave the meat behind.

I wish we had a KFC like that here, I loved all of the variations of the menu. Also, the price and overall quality of the food appears to be be much better than here in the states. I haven't been to a KFC in years, the last couple of times it was terrible. When I heard that it was a popular Christmas tradition in Japan, I couldn't believe it. But now I can see why it's a holiday favorite.

Yes, it is still there except for the spicy chicken. Prices have gone up a bit.

An all you can eat KFC, did you say? I need to go there! That's Incredible deeeeeeeelicious! I'm surprised about the twister teriyaki because KFC in Mexico tried to sell wraps and burritos and it didn't work, just no, I imagine local culture of taco had a lot to do about. The hot chicken you try is starting to be sold in Mexico. We had already hot chicken but now the Japanese recipe is going to be in the regular menu, not seasonal. KFC in my country is more focused in buckets and individual combos, no fries but potato puree with gravy instead and the bisquets sometimes taste like honey, no syrup for them. Also we have chicken tenders, chicken popcorn and barbecue items, crunchy recipe and jalapeño sauce for topping. Pandemic has made KFC a takeout and delivery chain, more than restaurant but some people still go there to eat directly.
Hope you can do a Christmas KFC special edition, would be a huge hit for your channel. Hugs and arigatou, it is amazing

In Japan, more and more people are using take-out and delivery not only at KFC but also at McDonald's and other restaurants. There was a time when McDonald's was not available inside the restaurant, especially when the pandemic started. But nowadays, more and more people eat inside any restaurant.
I thought biscuits and fries were the same in every country, but it seems they vary from country to country! (Is it only in Japan? lol)

KFC has unique menu in each country. in Thailand it has a lot of spicy foods in menu and has rice bowls more than burgers. it's very boring because I want something new that difference than Thai food style to eat. and it no biscuit in Thai KFC too, only has portuguese egg tart. by the way even if I can go to Japan again I won't eat at KFC. lol
