There are a bunch of "woodworking tricks" videos on youtube. While some of them are really good with helpful tips, some of them are honestly quite bad, with some tips that you are just never going to use.
In this video I wanted to share my top woodworking tricks that I actually use quite often.

Hi Are, some great hints to make woodworking easier and more fun. Those 4 hints you reviewed are very useful, especially to beginners who are just getting into the hobby. If you have done woodworking for a while I am sure most folks have developed some veryn helpful or more efficient ways to do things or fix things when you screw up. Keep up the good work!

I've tried to download your guide FOUR times ... nothing happened. Is there a reason for this? I really enjoy your videos. Regards from Scotland.

I really like the speed square trick and use it all the time. Buy a big 12 inch speed square for an even better experience in my opinion. Thanks for the great video!

I have seen a variation of the table leg tip but it uses a short piece of wood and the table would be standing on a table saw. Your idea seems much more accurate. Good video

I have used the hot iron trick many times, especially when restoring antique furniture. A faster way is to use a quick spray of water, then a drop or two of denatured alcohol, and a lighter works too! The heat from the burning alcohol will lift the wet fibers beautifully. Don't use too much alcohol as it will result in a burn. A few times will usually do it. Much faster than waiting for an iron to heat up.
