Rad deck list! I think once we get the dna digivolve option from ex6 we’ll REALLY be cooking! I am a big advocate of vikemon ace with etemon as well. It single-handedly takes care of magna x, and can steal turn back after getting valk aced!

When we get shoto and black scramble this deck could be tier one I believe it!

For me, I prefer to go with the fun & classic KingSuka over Shakko.
First and foremost, it's another 2-3 [Sukamon] names to have in your trash for MetalEte's deletion effect, as well as providing a [Sukamon] name to delete to protect him. Second, KingSuka provides an absolutely unique form of stun and removal that no other card in the game does (except Suka's Curse): turning even the strongest Digimon into a 3000 DP white "Sukamon". Many inheritables and Tamers are dependent on their Digimon having the right name, and KingSuka turns all those effects off. Additionally, becoming white prevents your opponent from digivolving that Digimon on their next turn, as virtually nothing digivolves on top of white, and having a measly 3000 DP means they won't survive a swing. Most interestingly, it turns KingSuka into a miniboss of the deck, as the converted poop plus any other Sukas give it a massive amount of SA to swing with, AND if it would get deleted by Security, you can delete your opponent's "Sukamon" to prevent the deletion! This way, you can delete even the highest level Digimon that don't have some inherent protection, whereas with Shakko, you're lucky if you can bounce a level 5 into security - at best, you're only removing level 4s and 3s.
Ultimately... KingSuka is just way too much fun! Shakkomon's okay, but the removal is nothing special, and the partition doesn't really give you anything useful compared to a higher level partition.

I like KingSuka too and was trying to include it in my build for a while but ran into the issue where it kinda just doubles down on the deck's biggest weakness, which is it has a hard time dealing with cards that are immune to digimon effects (Tyrant and MagnaX mainly). It's also a lvl5 you have to attack with to get value which makes it very vulnerable to getting ACEd. I agree Shakkou's removal effect is pretty underwhelming but it's main purpose is as an extender card to bridge excess lvl4s into a body that threatens counter blast or even into a MetalEte that is immune to digimon effects for 1 turn

I'm very much a Sukamon Etemon purist but these ideas definitely brew. Playing this deck for so long it definitely has a ton of options that it can mess with in the list because black and yellow are so versatile and the low end is so cheap.
I do think it's gotten far more consistent since EX5 than people give it credit for, and can surprise players with the ridiculous effects that don't really work the way other cards work.

I was trying to run with KingSuka and Suka's Curse in my original build but I think that style just needs too much setup to really get off the ground and ultimately it just isn't as rewarding as slamming them with a Valk at the start of their turn.
I agree the deck is in a solid spot and is only really missing a way to consistently push thru damage

@@DigiTamerJoel Its like you said, its an extremely long game plan deck and the additions like Valk speed it up and makes swinging more safe.
I win a majority of friendlies with the pure deck, it just takes a crazy amount of time. Eventually board states become so wide King just ends the game by himself.
It definitely needs speed and a way to get back etemons from trash and it'll be cooking.
Or even a KingSuka Ace of some kind.
