Sohna to Dausa = 180 km (2 hr)

i have TUV 300 - it gave me mileage of 16.5 on old route. and on expressway i usually get 18.5 - i leave around early morning hours. on expressway i get chance to drive constantly on 80-90 whereas on old highways speed are not constant with irritation sometime to cover distance i tend to drive around 100... plus in NCR region Delhi to Jaipur old highway is the pathetic one... I can drive Delhi to Jaisalmer without issue but after Delhi to jaipur i need Rest.
Calculation for Old Route :
1. Distance 264 ( saket to Jaipur )
264/16.5 = 16 Ltr Diesel = 16 * 89 = 1424
2. Toll charges = 270
Total expense = 1694 & time = 5 hrs
Calculation for New Route :
1. Distance 294
294/18.5 = 15.89 Ltr Diesel = 1424 - Price almost same for fuel
2. Toll charges = 585
Total Expense = 2009 & time 4 Hrs...
so for saving 1 hours i have to spend 300 RS more... plus i will drive without fatigue... less chances of accident ... less overtakes less breaking... over all your vehicle will enjoy long term ... so use express way

We usually get frustrated when we get bad roads, jams and to compensate that we drive faster which is not at all good in terma of safety.
Moreover, our vehicle also suffers a lot.
Spending 100-200 more is better than spending thousands.

I routinely drive from Gurgaon to Jaipur, mostly I reach Gurgaon to Jaipur with NH48 in between 3.15 to 3.30 hours with a 5 minute break. Distance approx 230 km and journey beginning at approx 6 or 7 AM.
I drive on Yamuna Expressway regularly to Mathura from Delhi. I can use the old NH 44 and pay much less toll and reach within 20-30 mins margin. But Yamuna Expressway is delight to travel since it's mostly cars no trucks. And no city traffic merging every 20-30 km.
It will be costlier than old one highway... On express way we have to travel 50-60km more. And toll tax is higher around 300 rupees. And I can reach in 4-5hours from jaipur to Delhi on old highway... This is good for Delhi to Mumbai... 👍
There is a under construction road which will connect Jaipur to delhi mumbai expressway. Which will reduce time to 3 hours. The news forgot to tell that
Old highway is full of portholes , everytime i went on that highway kuch na kuch toota he hai gaadi ki , 2 baar rim toot gya ,1 baar engine mount toot gya. Seriously tata ki gaadi ka bhi yehi haal hai toh socho kya haal hai uss highway ka

jaipur max 4.5 se 5 ghanta lagta hai.. city ke entry point tak... es raste mai bhi itna hi lag rha hai... atleast jaipur tak jane wale k liye jyada fayda nahi hai.. unless new year ka traffic na ho.. toll bhi double se jyada hai

I am happy with Double Decker Train from Delhi to Jaipur, 4.5 hours with 800 rps but this highway takes more time with almost 600 rps only for toll no way .
Expressways are mainly to reduce logistics cost ie freight, trucks.

yes but overall if we see from long term perspective, its fine because due to expressways less time is spent on roads reducing our fuel emissions and oil imports plus increasing productivity of people and creating jobs. plus also, re-plantation of trees is done on the side so overall negligible harm is caused to the environment.

Road is good. Delhi to Mumbai travel will reduce although for Jaipur travel time may not reduced but 50 % more comfortable. Jaipur Agra road will be impacted negatively or required to upgrade that road also.

Kabhi galti se bhi Indore Ahamdabad wale highway par mat jana kyuki Indore se 40 km. Ki doori par hi 150 rs. Ka toll lag jata he 😭

By the new rout, travel 297 k.m., & pay 585 ₹ , is not practical for Jaipur tour.
That's purely subjective. If you want to save 200 rupees for an extra 2 hours and stress due to traffic, by all means, go for it.
Old route is hectic, busy, potholes and extra 2 hrs time to commute Jai-Del plus 270 rupee toll for broken roads

First of all pureni Road per 4.30 se 5 hours maximum lagte jam hone per. Toll lum hai. But agar jam nahi mile to 4- 4.30 hour Mai aaram se 80-90 ki speed se bhi pauch sakte hai
Agar purne road ko he sahi Kara de to he sub kuch bachega.

How come bikes are allowed ?
Express way se 40 kilometres extra yani 400 rupees ka petrol or 250 rupees extra toll tax. 400 + 250 = 750 rupees extra. Purane road se ye journey 5 hours main bus se bhi ho jati hai. By car 4 housr easily.
