This framerate is horrible, these aren't even 20 fps.
You're right. The kaleidoscope was mastered in 60p but it is turning so slowly that there is change only about every 5th frame. A faster moving kaleidoscope would have shown off the frame rate better. This was my first experiment with 60p and I wasn't sure what kind of motion dynamics to expect. I'll do a fast one for my next 60p test.
