Good morning Milou. When I first started to watch the trumpet debacle and watch you Readers I read a few times references to two young girls that were allegedly sexually assaulted by him. The cases went to court or at least were documented. The harassment those families and lawyers received made them drop the cases and one family had to leave their home. Those girls are now around 40. One of the girls name is known and I think one is Kate. Is this story what you are referring to or another. I can understand these lasses would not want to be drawn into the public eye again but how I wish they could. Surely rape allegations of young girls would have to be part of a big part of his undoing because by golly moses something needs to bring this man loose term to his knees once and for all. It's those who've been bamboozled, who aren't part of those groups and might not understand their fate (or only in those groups because of their partner or parents).
I just don't mess with them. I let them know I don't play that, they usually back off 😄. I used to meet them in the work place, they always quit after they mess with me.
The problem is the Supreme Court interprets laws. They are trying to write laws. This is not their job. This decision should be ignored. The Supreme Court should not have taken this case because the Constitution does not address this issue. This issue needs to be addressed by Congress not the Court. Since there is no law on Presidential immunity then this is a non-issue and should not be allowed to be a defense issue. The Supreme should not have accepted the case. This is the reason we have bad and poor decisions because the current Supreme Court does not know their job description.

My feeling is that Biden should never debate trump again. trump does not know how to debate nor is he willing to learn. He will use it like a rally. Biden should so a series of town halls in different states with local people asking the questions NOT pundits! Biden should be alone or with Kamala. We dems are sick of trump. Milou, in my analysis of what draws people to Trump, I finally fell back on my biology and animal behavior background. Animals (we are also members of the Animal Kingdom) are generally drawn to autocratic behavior, no matter how gross and depraved that behavior might be. If that brute is clever, it will delegate duties to others, who fear that brute because the brute has the power to determine who eats, who lives, and who gets to mate:-) Among humans, this behavior is instinctive, and with the appropriate motivation, humans can fall into it easily. Trump is useful to his handlers because he is brash, has a gift of oratory and stage presence, and is a master manipulator (In 2006, I sat in a conference room with Trump for two hours. I learned a lot about the man).
On that debate stage last week, (call it an arena where two gladiators faced off), Trump was the Alpha! Many people, while compassionate enough to sympathize with Biden's plight, had they not known anything about Biden prior to the debate, might have been more unforgiving of his reluctance to strike back at the Alpha.
In the Roman arenas, people cheered the most brutal gladiators. God help the fighter who showed passivity in the arena. History tells us that if he fought bravely but lost, he was allowed to live to fight another day.
