What's in my bag, purse essentials, walking pharmacy, every day carry, first aid kit

  • These are the items that I carry in my purse/bag on an every day carry (EDC) basis. Keep in mind that they are not tactical or survival. They are what I consider purse/bag essentials, first aid kit, and walking pharmacy just in case for those "in a pickle" moments. This way, I'm more organized on the go and prepared. I hope to give you some ideas on what to carry and how to organize them.

Love your organization. Lots of great ideas. I'd love to know where you got the bottles for liquids. They look durable and the right size. One thing to be wary of - you need to be careful with storing medications like you do. This may depend on the country you're in, but as a rule of thumb, prescriptions need to be in their original container. Some fold the packaging flat for air travel and store with the medication, and that might pass. You do NOT want to have police get suspicious of what you've got in your purse that they can't immediately identify. Blister packs with the name of the medication for non-prescription is good, exactly for that reason.

I'm so using that lens case idea; it'll be perfect for little dabs of cream for cuts and burns.
I have my pills decanted and in labelled compartments in a pill box. If you have chronic illness and a shoebox of meds, it's not possible to carry original boxes. On a plane, I flatten the boxes and keep the pills in their blister strips but day to day? Nope. The police can phone my GP if they are suspicious.
My handbag can see me through about 3 days away from home if it must! Friends think I'm OTT but wheret do they come for a paracetamol or plaster?
    Thanks for sharing x

Thanks for your input on the pills. I am in much agreement with you on that one. I love your comment about the police, so funny!
I like that you and I are the same. I too can survive 3 days with the stuff I carry. Great minds think alike. If you haven't subscribed already, please do, I would really appreciate it :)
