- Tacloban is a coastal highly urbanized city in the Eastern Visayas region. Although administratively independent due to its distinction as highly urbanized city, Tacloban is commonly grouped with the province of Leyte. The highly urbanized city also serves as the provincial capital as well as the regional center of Eastern Visayas.The city has a land area of 201.72 square kilometers or 77.88 square miles. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 251,881. This represented 5.54% of the total population of the Eastern Visayas region. Based on these figures, the population density is computed at 1,249 inhabitants per square kilometer or 3,234 inhabitants per square mile. www.philatlas....

Dapat ilapat na yong lumang down town puro mga lumang building nasa Tacloban lalo na yong sea wall dati at yong Tacloban market ganoon pa rin ang itsura hindi na ako nakaka bisita ng Tacloban for 30years peto yong Down Town Tacloban wala pa rin ipinagbago sana iliapat na yong down town
Tagal na po pala 30 years nang ganito ang downtown.
