    Really enjoyed your video. Wish you were in LA. My Chinese xpro ninja 125cc front blinkers dont blink but the rear do work after installing a new relay. After watching your very informative video, I am going to check all connections now.

      Out , chances are the ground plug backed out of the plug

    Good video your good at telling it the way its is! A+ i have every thing working but no heard lights>dealer set the bike up ! i went for a ride sat down on the seat the scooter Shut off? Its a Dongfang 300 .i see the wireng problems! but no head lights can you help out om this one!??

    Hi theee good good video. Good workmanship. I have a problem with my scooter. I turned tye ignition on and all my indercators are flashing 😮😮 do you no wot it may be its led from factory and was all ok working. But found that the indercators sre all flashing at tye same time

    i have a 200cc doang fang super scooter. the lights work except for the head light and the lights seem a bit dim on the dash and such, what is the issue and how to fix it???????????

      The voltage regulator is week or bad . Check headlight bulb. The headlight gets its power from Regulator . All other lights are from battery .

    You left me hanging. Once you switched to the handle and master cylinder you didn't go back to all the wires that weren't attached and show what goes where. I'm in that spot and you almost got to that but diverted. Can you help with those unattached wires?

      Personally I would stay away from the 300. They are having problems with the rear ends . Icebear is currently working on the problems but are not selling any at the moment until it is fixed.

    Dear sir, i'm going nuts... My 50cc GY6 scooter's back park lights not turning on... Front park light, ok. Brake Light, Ok. Blinkers, Ok. Bulb is also okay. I'm checking connection with a light pen connected to ground, there is light on the pen. But some how not enough voltage is coming for park light. Can you please point where to investigate? :(

      I don’t know if I have seen a scooter with parking lights . Most just have tail light , brake light , blinkers and some have running lights .

      @@toddrapp7904 In here they call parking light that the one allways runs. One on the headlights and one on the tail. The one on the tail has one bulb but two functions, one low light allways runs and it gets brighter when brake applied. The one should allways runs doesn't work properly.. (No light comes, looks like lower voltage than it requires to lit, because when low voltage light tester touches the socket it lits)

    I am in the process of converting a 2019 Xmotos 250cc dirt bike to street legal I have purchased all parts to do this my question is can I use the stock wiring harness that came with the bike? I will check to see how many wires come out of stator and my bike did come with a battery

      Mr. Wildwood . I actually have a 2020 XMOTO 250. I will have to look. It shouldn’t be a big deal since it already has a battery and regulator for charging. Front brakes already have a brake switch attached to bottom.

      There is a voltage regulator that converts power from stator to run headlights and charge battery . Blinkers and tail light run off battery

    I have a tao tao 150 that's been sitting for awhile I had to replace the ignition switch because the people that gave it to us lost the keys I put a new battery on it and I can't get the lights to come on or the starter to cranks unless I jump the solenoid

      There is an online fuse connected to positive terminal . Make sure that is good. Also make sure the ignition switch wires match . Red/red
      Green to green, black to black, black/white to black/white. Sometimes they are not in the same position in the plug.

    When we first started fiddling with the scooter (it had been sitting for 2 years) my friend put the jumper cables on backwards (pos on neg). We saw smoke coming from between the front turn signal area (the cover was on). Can someone suggest a video to help me troubleshoot what happened? I can't find any burnt-out wire or anything looking suspicious.
    I have a multimeter but have no clue on how to use it for this application.

      Probably melted the group wire

      Check ground wire on ignition switch . Make sure it is not melted

    How do I figure out the wiring to hook up the blinkers when the colors are the same? Do I test them and how? I don’t have the money to pay someone so I have to do it myself.

      Front right blinker is pink
      Front left is brown.
      Rear right pink
      Rear left is brown
      The problem with vinos are the rear blinkers housings will both have brown wires coming out of the blinkers . So be aware of that.
      Taillight is purple/violet same as main headlight power
      Brake light is blue-white
      Black is ground

      @@hakeemfb3 most Chinese scooter have similar coding . Blinkers are usually light blue and orange with green(ground ).
      Headlight white , blue and green ground .
      ( white and blue are your hi and low wires)
      Ignition switch is red(hot), black(on), green (ground). Black with white stripe is kill
      So when you turn it on it connects the red and black. Off is green and black with white stripe connected.
      Start button yellow with red stripe .

    I figured out the taillight and signal lights but the headlight doesn’t come on so does the scooter need to be running for the headlight to work?

      Yes. The headlights only work when the scooter is running . Head light and tail light run off the rectifier (voltage regulator).
      Blinkers and brake light run off the battery

    I have a 2013 tao tao my blinker wont blink just stay solid when turned on then turn off when u out the switch back to center i replaced the relay n that didn’t help

      There is a flasher that I would replace first . Second , if the bulb is bad on the other blinker on the same side it may not blink . For instance , if the front blinker comes on but doesn’t flash, check rear build to make sure it is good

      Unfortunately YAMAHA STUFF IS UNIQUE. Main thinking is to determine if it getting power . Some Vinos use a tiny battery that sucks . And is expensive to replace .

    Mines the opposite everything but the rear tail light works when I press the brakes the brake light turns on but without the brakes engaged the rear light stays dark any help?

      They work off of two different wires and power supplies . Brake light works off battery and brake switch . Tail light runs off of voltage regulator same as headlight . Motor has to be running to power tail lights . If not check wires at rear plug and socket

      The head light and tail light are usually ran off the same circuit . The brake light is a totally different circuit . The rear bulb has two filaments . So one could be bad.

    Hi.. I got a trouble with my headlights on my scouter.. The problem is that my lights are not strong enough... I have changed the light machine and the Regler and the battery problem not solved any suggestions?

      giwwrgos-svetlana there are two different bulbs made a 25 watt and a 35 watt.
      Make sure you try the 35/35 watt bulbs. Also the Xenon bulbs (blue) help as well

      Also make sure the socket is grounded good.. run a wire from the socket to the frame . See if the brightness goes up. The regulator should be putting out around 13.8-14.3 bolts at headlight..

      Replace your voltage regulator . If it is bad it will blow the bulb once you rev it up .

      Biggest thing is to determine if your horn is bad or wiring /button. Hook up a charged battery directly to the horn . If it
      Honks then your horn is good and you can direct attention to the switch .
      Or if you have a bolt
      Meter . Unplug horn and hook Leads to the horn wires. Push button . If you have 12 volts then button is good and you have a bad horn

    Hey buddy, found your clip by searching for "LED headlight upgrade flashers not working"
    I don't think this covers that, though, so please allow me to pick your brain, if you have knowledge please let me know, if not no offense taken.
    So I switched to the plug and play LED headlight from old lamp.
    The spread of the LED is great, but my flashers stopped working, simply staying "on/lit" solid.
    My flashers are still stock bulbs.
    Do you have any tips on what would cause this issue? If not, I didn't mean to waste anyone's time.

      The LED DO NOT DRAW ENOUGH POWER for flasher to work . You can use LED on front only or back only. .
      Or install a resistor then all will work.
      There are also special LED FLASHERS

      I used LED only on front headlight bulb. Only. Nowhere else.

      The headlight has no effect on flashers . Nothing needs to be done to it .
      The blinkers work on a flasher system and there needs to be resistance for it to work ..
      Either way will work . The LED FLASHER IS EASIEST . Just a plug and play . Just make sure the plugs are the same . There a a few different plugs .

      Check the ground wire on the socket .

      SKITSAFONIC cold also be metal prongs on bottom of socket are barely touching the bulb. Simply remove bulb and push up prongs with your finger the reinstall bulb

    Some got fuses to might be a fuse
