These Military homecomings are so bittersweet . Families are everything and even good friends who hug and cry to see a loved one . Thanks to all our Military Heroes for letting us keep our freedoms we have today and in the past. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

As much as it sucks to be away from home, it's harder on those who are waiting for your return.

I love the way that the family dogs always want to be included!
Back in the early 90's, my kids loved me, but in the 2000's, as my kids were in their teen years, they wanted nothing to do with me, so I programmed my mind to not care which was hard, so I figured leaving State would make it easier for me, and it worked... Now life is more peaceful.... My advice is when family & friends have a distain for you, it is wise to remove yourself from them permanently.

However, my 34 yr. old son & 36 yr. old daughter had a change of heart, and they both have kids of their own, so I also have my 6 grandchildren as well, so they have been in my life since 2020... However, the current problem is my 19 yr. old daughter that still wants nothing to do with me... I'm hoping she'll someday have a change of heart too.... My only crime is leaving state for work on & off for up to 2 years at times.

There's something wrong with me, I don't get this thing.. the emotional aspect of reunion.. I understand it, I just don't feel it.. and no I'm not a psychopath, I just don't feel that type of emotion. I guess it has to do with what I went through as a kid. I just don't feel things on that type of personal level

I took my boys into Iraq to disable any s2a attacks, my brilliant platoon were killing/actioning 9, yes NINE months b4 the move forward. My team allowed you to go. And so.
