Soooooo... Back in to ''90s, you were the keynote speaker at a conference I attended in San Francisco, and you talk was well received. After your closing comments, we may not have stood up to applaud but there was laughing. Then... a couple of months later, I was at an Office Depot in Dublin, CA and there you were. You had an under-chair office mat stuffed mostly into a shopping cart and you apparently felt the need to read something on the underside of the mat. I stopped and was standing, watching you folding your body in half, neck twisted uncomfortably and you noticed me. Our eyes met as we shared that moment and somehow I managed not to laugh. Slowly I turned. Step by step, I wandered away, leaving you to your task.
I looked you up today because I was thinking about a time before I retired, when I tried sharing some of the Dilbert comics with the managers where I worked at the time. They could eee nothing humorous about "pre-meeting meetings' or that it was funny that they hired consultants to tell them what I had been telling them in my reports. I do wonder that they stopped asking me to attend management pre-meetings.

I listened to a few podcasts with Mark Zuckerberg and he stated that Meta is moving away from news and politics. He wants nothing to do with those industries, it's mostly going to be entertainment. Which is good in my opinion. The future for Big Tech isn't as bad as people think it is.

There are a few already being implemented, but it's still a budding technology. Batteries are getting better because of graphene allowing for better cooling and charging rates. Carbon nanotubes are used for impregnating other materials for increasing strength.
Don't expect some miracle structure like a space elevator, but it's another tool for material manufacturing.
