- 'Music inspired by the Heroes Teaching Conference' is a collection of songs inspired by and recorded in light of 'The Heroes Teaching Conference' (6-7 April, 2019). The conference was a historic gathering of over 1,000 Baha'i and like-minded friends from all over Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales, Australia.
Organized by the Regional Baha'i Council and Board of Counsellors, the program aimed to help its participants find their place in service to Baha’u’llah and humanity, by drawing on the heroism of the past, inspiring them to arise, through humble service, and become heroes of the Faith for this age.

Can someone share the name of the guy with the guitar and who wrote the song? Thanks!
Hi! Tom Francis is the composer and singer-songwriter behind these songs. You can find out more about him on his website: www.tomfrancismusic.com/
can someone give me uke chords for this
What are the chords?
Sydney-Thelma Tamankag I’m trying to figure it out too...
Ok!! So downtune 6th string to D flat, 3 rd string down two semitones and the rest down by one semitone so you’re in a D flat major tuning (I think).
Chords (tried to find it by ear so not 100% sure):
O Lord (1st finger 3rd string 3rd fret, 2nd fin 4th string 4th fret. Db) make me just an empty (2nd fin 6th str 7 fret, 3rd fin 3rd st 7 fret. G#) cup
With my head (same finger placement but down 2 frets. F#) hung low and my hands (Db) held up (G#) (same chords for the rest of the verse)
And all my treasures, and all my days
I would gladly give for a single gaze
My heart has finally found a home
here in paradise (2x)
(Chorus: F#. 2nd fin 6th st 9 fret 1st fin 3rd st 8 fret (Bb min). Db. 2nd fin 6th st 4 fret 1st fin 3rd st 3 fret (E# min). F#.
(Same chords as verse 1)
If I lay my spirit at your feet
If I give my body to the endless sea
I would burn away like Breakwell did
I would give my praise by the life I live
Chorus (4x)
@@alexandreevans9284 Tune down half a step then tune like you would be tuning to open D, then the chords in the video work :)
Can someone post the lyrics please
O Lord make me just an empty cup
With my head hung low and my hands held up
And all my treasures, and all my days
I would gladly give for a single gaze
And my heart has finally found a home, here in paradise, here in paradise (2x)
If I lay my spirit at your feet
If I give my body to the endless sea
I would burn away like Breakwell did
I would give my praise by the life I live
Then Chorus repeated 4x
Thank you so much ❤️
@@elijahmamea8939 thank u so much for posting these lyrics. It led me to look up Thomas Breakwell. I feel his story in this song. Much love to the beautiful singers and Tom Francis.
My heart has finally found a home, here in paradise. I think it is inspired by a Bahai quote- thy Paradise is My love; thy heavenly home, reunion with Me. Enter therein and tarry not. This is that which hath been destined for thee in Our kingdom above and Our exalted dominion.
