Excellent list! I lived in Volusia County and never knew about Green Spring. Will have to check it out. Have been to the other four and they are as good as you say! Mud Spring is my favorite, wonderfully misnamed to keep the crowds away.

Yes. I love both. Specifically Kings Landing in the off-season. Both are amazing!

@@teddy5236 Suwannee River State Park has camping. I think that’s probably the closest spot. Like 30 mins drive (ish). If I see something closer, I’ll let you know!

Did you find alligators in the springs?
Yes. Sometimes. They like freshwater so they are definitely around. Usually they stay away from crowds. If you stay off the banks and out of the darker water you should be ok. If you want to see an interesting encounter, check out my video on Alexander Springs 😳
