My opinion is based on my observations as a documentarian alone..
I made this piece out of total Respect for an individual committed to their craft.
What Does It Take To Be Labeled A God?
If you have ever spent time watching the lines or hanging around yards you have seen them. The skulls, the hands, the monikers, burners, throw ups, tik toks and whole cars. Some new, some 20+ years old. Hang around long enough and it becomes clear that Ichabod has separated from the pack.
The highest level of the freight graffiti world with very little outside push. No IG presence or flamboyant behaviors to draw attention, just the GRIND...
I have caught them rolling on boxcars, hoppers, reefers, gondolas, flats, autoracks, on main lines short lines, dead lines and anywhere else you might see a train. An unbelievable variety.
A blueprint on how to reach the peak of your craft.
You can't deny the hustle or dedication.
There is only one Ichabod The Rail God
Respect
This is just some of the catches I have from the past four years. I remember seeing an Ichabod the first time I benched trains in the 90's.

Right here shows the work of a DEDICATED bencher. Excellent work
Much appreciated.
I started writing in 7th grade. My middle school music class did a project on how music was related to art and I decided to choose graffiti as my category to do my project on. My grandma took me to a local train yard so I could snap some pics of graffiti to use for my project. I fell in love and started practicing my own pieces in my free time. I remember finding an ArtCrimes website and it showed tons of different writers. One of the first guys I looked up to was Ichabod because I was so fascinated with how many different pieces he had. The full cars have always blown my mind. Here we are 16 years later and almost daily my son and I go benching together. Its always nice seeing an Ich piece pass by as it reminds me of my beginning years! Huge respect to the LEGEND!
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Growing up in Stockton I lived right next to the railroad tracks where they'd park the cars and I remember seeing ich quite often along with many others.
@@stanlee1857 ol’ ICH gets around.
He has lots of the same pieces you're not looking -
My biggest graff writer for sure. Keeping true to himself. Original AF. A brand of his own.
\m/
Dude has the North American continent on lock. Unreal numbers.
at 4:30 my jaw dropped
He is hands down top 3 in my book. No question. Amazing job “documenting” his work. He did the no jumper interview and said over 6,000 trains. WOW! Would be an honor to meet him. Even an autograph would just be the greatest thing ever! Hope he paints another 6000 trains
Definitely a real one on the lines. Thanks for the feedback.✌
I've caught around 2-hundred Ichs in the last 3-years here in Georgia, from small monikers to full autoracks. Makes my day to be able to catch one (or more) with the trusty Nikon.
ICH and APER on the same car. What a cool find. Good job yo! You got all the holo cards in this deck.
Damn I see him everywhere even on TV on a show trains passed by and I seen ICH
What show
ICH. Jase. and Jaber are hands down fucking legends in the rail game. Ive seen more from those 3 than any other.
They definitely put in the work.
The KING OF STRAIGHT LETTERS
Been seeing ich all my life just came back cause I seen on yesterday!!! Shout out from
Elkhart Indiana
That ich......🎉🎉🎉
Definitely one of the heavy hittaz
True that
Nice video! I'd say Jase is a rail God aswell. Its hard to bench and not see him.
Can't argue with that.
Straight up King
The dudes got the game sewed up
Indeed.
Great vid,guy is an absolute rail slayer it's crazy how up he is on so many types of cars 🏆

Wow this guy is UP!! 💯
Many thanks for your help over the past few years of opening my eyes to all these great folks.
Thanks D, always a good day benching freights..
Hell yeah. Got a shot of one of ich in bama.
Respect From Boston
Much Appreciated.
Awesome production and dedication to your craft. As a bencher, I appreciate the effort it took to get this much material and then put it together. Seen ICH for years and lots of catches here on the West Coast. North America has some incredible Writers and the volume of their work is almost unimaginable considering what it takes to put up these great pieces. Peace!
Thank You. Greatly appreciate it.
Cool video compilation. Always on the lookout for ICH and skull while railfanning. Caught ICH many times in PA and now in CO.
Thanks for sharing. 👍🐾👍
Og in the game
No doubt.
legendary graffiti
Having over 4k trains out there helps.
Awesome video with music!
Just saw my first Ichabod box car in person today. What a legend.
all it takes-you'll never see a freight the same way ever again. good hunting!
Máximo respeto. 😵🥵
Ele é admirado aqui no Brasil também...
Nice compilation!
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
I consistently see these all over Northern California
🎉
Excellent captures and edits. 176 pieces by my count. Much respect.
Thank you
Heavy Duty!
DOPE!
Thank You
Ich💀 🙏🙏🙏
I see ICH💀 here in central Cali.
Out of every 4 times I go out, anywhere between 4-6 hours, and I see maybe one or two ICH pieces..... I'm in SoCal, and it's frustrating. One rolls by and I get like 3-4 flicks and it's the f-ing holy grail of the day. Also looking out for Troll Slayers, Ian Moon, Roek, Jaber, Beazy, Rade, Habanero, Duel, & Boog on wholecars, 125, etc.....
just saw an old habanero rolling in NE indiana today
Caught a full car Neckface years back in nw indiana that was just a big weird hand and his name signed in it to the side. Seemed rare but I'm not as close to the bench as I used to be so exposure is limited.
Nice video! It’s cool seeing pieces of his that I’ve never seen before!
👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks for taking a look.
How do u know if you've seen a certain piece or not? There are tens of thousands, I think a lot look quite similar and it be hard to tell
@@alen-commentnazi8774 because I document every piece of graffiti that is worth documenting. Been doing that for 25 years now. Just as long as he been in a game I have a lot of hard copies of ICH from 2000
@@SwiftKickIt615 jeez how do u have time for that
@@alen-commentnazi8774 by being fortunate
Ive seen him up in quite a few different cities where i live in Maine.
pretty sure he lives there so it would make sense
@@brycewalsh1773 How do you know that though?
Same every train I see in Maine has him
He's from Boston
@@timbuktoo7050 that makes sense
