Do NOT Use Hand Over Hand Prompting

Why should I avoid providing my AAC user with hand over hand prompting?
Because it inhibits motor planning, discourages independence and is very presumptuous. How could you ever know what someone wants to express all the time? If someone was always finishing my sentences, I would feel super annoyed. How about you?
