What Grey's Anatomy did with The Music Event episode was just amazing. It was so ingenious how they took songs from their first three seasons (many of which they made famous) and worked them into a plot that featured their characters singing them. I knew that Sara Ramirez could sing and figured that Shondra Wilson would have some soul as well...but wow...I was very impressed with the entire cast. It was so emotionally moving for a fan like me who has been following them all along. Well done!
How are people not fan-girling around her??!!! I would have gone crazy and I would have tried to hug her or something. I would at least just faint or something lol. She is such an inspiration for everyone. I absolutely love you, Sara Ramirez!!!!!
I also must mention that I feel that Sara's live performances (regardless of minor errors/pitch issues) are much better than her recordings. This says a lot. If a vocalist makes more of an impact live than recorded, you KNOW she is Good! I love how she uses different qualities of her voice to convey different emotions. Plus her range is moe accessible for us fans to sing along in comparison to more common soprano tunes that hit the charts. I look forward to more hits, Sara!
Seraphina Mathias I think at certain points in the show they both deserved better. The plane crash changed Arizona making her a crappy GF to Callie, and that toxic relationship made Callie a crappy person (overall) to Arizona with the whole trying to take Sofia thing. Ultimately, I’m almost POSITIVE Grey’s will end with Sara coming back and Callie coming back to Arizona because the characters are meant for each other - which is why it’s a good thing they ended on a good note with her going to NY
