I tryed both. First i bought Xiaomi S1 and take it back to store than i took Amazfit GT4 4. I can say that Amazfit is much better smart watch than Xiaomi S1. Only advantage of S1 is wirelless charging. Everything elese is better on Amazfit. A lot more information on watch itself, alexa works all the time on GTR 4, on S1 stop working after while and you need to sync it manually eith app on phone to work again. In Zepp app you have a lot of extra apps to install it on watch, watch faces looks much better on GT4 4. S1 doesnt support PAI, breathing quality etc. For the same price i could say Amzfit is big winner. There is still a lot thinkgs which aree better on GTR 4 and i cant write all of them. My opinion is that GTR 4 is absolute winner.

For me I choose Galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm than gtr 4, the rotating bezel and verry clean wear os the display, NFC, samsung pay and a lot more you will feel inlove with galaxy watch 4 classic 💯 satisfied user her

I agree with almost all the points you have mentioned here, I have tried to buy a xiaomi watch S1 watchband online and thats 4 times more expensive than the amazfit watchband, so yeah Xiaomi has nailed it this time

Han; you are absolutely right in your points but Amazfit bited s1 by the connectivity between the watch and the phone.We all know that miui is well polished.But it stands for a capule of months.S1 is automatically disconnected without any issues.S1 not have any navigation system and any independent music playback or internal storage
But Amazfit sometimes doesn't receive phone calls notification
Hi man, what about the Amazfit GTR3 or Huawei GT3? which one do you prefer? will use it as watch and some walking or biking 2-3 times a week and to read messages from my Iphone 11.
I started off very interested but you lost me when you started calling the Amazfit strap cheap. It is actually one of the 3 options you had so you chose this one that looks the cheapest, like a toy watch to be exact.

Firstly I greatly appreciate your comprehensive review. Your insights are of paramount importance to me, and I trust that your response to my impending query will be both candid and well-informed.
I find myself on the cusp of purchasing a GTR 4, but the aesthetic appeal of the WATCH S1 has me giving it a second thought. The one hurdle that stops me from instantly opting for it is the information regarding its battery life.
For clarity, I plan to use the watch primarily for its fundamental purpose - telling time, and perhaps for receiving notifications. Its visual appeal is, of course, a significant factor for me. The brightness of the screen is a consideration, but beyond these points, the other features do not hold much value for me.
I am under the impression that by disabling the GPS, measuring functions, and other similar features, the watch should ideally last for a minimum of 14 days. This information is explicitly stated in the GTR4's description, along with its energy-saving feature.
Given your thorough understanding and knowledge of these intricacies, I would sincerely appreciate if you could validate or refute whether the WATCH S1 can indeed last for 14+ days with all features deactivated, except for the timekeeping and notification functions.

I'm very late to this, but wrong info. The parent company used to work together with Xiaomi to make Xiaomi branded wearables, but they have since split ways, Xiaomi has no ownership stake in it. Will forgive you, as it's been widely reported incorrectly.
Amazfit is its own company, set up with an aim on Western markets. All the software is now made by Zepp in the USA. Still shares a few roots with Xiaomi's software, but they're rapidly growing apart now.
Can't remember the parent company's name, but it's the world's largest manufacturer of wearables, though many are sold under different brand names by partnered companies.

Há outras, exactamente no mesmo género e no mesmo material (que não é couro em nenhum dos casos!). A duração da bateria do GTR, por exemplo, é o dobro daquele que menciona (e superior à do modelo que ele prefere em 5 dias!). Portanto, é expectável que dê a sua opinião, sim. Mas baseada em factos, e não em informação falsa e tendenciosa. Péssimo review.

till now I have never felt any issue with Xiaomi S1, its working well, but you need to buy the global ROM edition, Chinese ROM edition has a few issues, I agree

Can you answer calls and call calls and speak direct in the watch on both models ?
S1 can.But no number dial. So that person needs to call u 1st in order for the number to be stored in your watch. U can call back simply by selecting the number in your watch. Not sure about the other watch

I have GTR 3 and in my opinion you shouldn't spend a lot of money On a smart watch. I occasionally wear my GTR 3 when I go out of my house.
In the morning i go out for a job and used to set many different sport modes but now I'm only noting my steps.
Go for GTR2 /GTR3 or any other watch in this same price tag.

@@HansTechTalk Isn't it just OEM products that have different brands on ? I mean, the Xiaomi S1 watch is a bit larger in diameter than the S1 Pro, but specs are very similar to the Amazfit GTR 4 and the Huawei watch.
I feel sorry for those buying GTR instead of S1, if they watched this review, they will definitely regret it. It's a good value product. If possible can you kindly gives us more details about S1 vs Kieslect K11, which one is better choice in between them.
