That zip tie made all the difference, thank you!
....thank you for making this video!!! ...I was able to fix my neighbors wheel chair....blessings!!
I loved the zip tie trick!!! I wish I would've thought of it. I still needed a second set of hands but the zip tie made it much easier.
thank you so much for the demonstartion
We did this with three large screwdrivers and three sets of hands. It's not easy, but easier than trying to run it around the brake handle. My brakehandle is flat, not round, so the grooves on the tire would get caught in the handle.
I have a 23 inch tire which is hard to find. So for a tight fit would would I need a 21-inch tire?
If it isnt fully seated in one place how to i get it in there? Ive got the tire on bit it isnt fully in fhere in one spot.
Where can I buy this tyres
What tire did you use?
Can these work on three wheel tricke
Lately i've been having an issue where the tread keeps coming off the wheel. I assume that somehow its over stretching when i use the wheel chair. Is there an adhesive or something that can help keep the tire in place or is replacement the best solution? I just got the wheel chair about a month ago.
If you are using inner tubes, they don't have enough air in them. Over stretching the tire getting it on the rim could be a problem. I use solid inserts so I don't have issues with low air pressure or flats.
How do you remove the old tyre?
If the old tyre doesn't come of easily then generally it can be cut off instead
My rim is 22 1/2 by 5/8 and I have no Idea what size tires I need..... \\\\=HELP Please-////
Based on that size it sounds as though you have a 26 inch wheelchair wheel. This is not a size that we stock
@@forestmobility3497 I actually found it... I's a 25x1 17mm 559 only one company that I know makes it SHOX. Thanks anyways.
What description? I don’t see any to check.
Just below the video in the blue box where it says Please Note, click the "see more". That gives the links.
How does one go about removing a solid tire no tube. I've got wheels with good tread but wheels are bent due to broke spokes. Just cant get enough muscle to remove tires off rim. What kinda tool do I need. Again no tubes in tires. These are solids.
We usually have to cut off stubborn hard to remove tyres so you would likely need to replace the tyres at the same time you replace the spokes. You would probably find that after removal the tyre would be too loose if you refitted it as it has already been stretched once to fit.
You won't get solid tires off. If you get solid inserts, those you can remove the tire and insert without too much trouble. Solid tires are built to throw away.

Where can I buy this solid tyre in India?
Solid tyrekittumo
This is another "how to do " video that just ignores the difficult part. What do you do when your near the end and you have to stretch the tyre to get the rest on?
At 1:58 it shows us putting the last part of the tyre on, we removed the bit in between to keep the video length down but it really is a case of working your way gradually around the rim, holding the bit you have already done with your spare hand.
@@forestmobility3497 It took me over half an hour to get half a tyre on using your method. I'm going to have to call a professional out. Two minutes?!? 🤦😤
The tire you show is way bigger than a tire in reality, yours almost falls on. If trying this at home go to a different video
The tyre we show in the video is a stock one from off the shelf and the same as the ones we supply. We can't comment on what tyres other suppliers use.
Speak louder !!!!
put up your sound
How do you remove the tire?
If the tyre is hard to remove then it is usually best just to cut the old tyre off
