I am bummed because I ordered some Pela cases for my 12 right before I got the email for my trade-in. Well they won’t fit the 13 so now I have to send them back to Canada where Pela is located. So I may order a cheaply case for now until I can reorder.

The 13 mini is a beast and feels like a far more impressive achievement for flagship phone in its fly weight size and form factor. After testing the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 pro max, they felt like obese underachievers compared to the 13 mini. Speakers sounded the same with excellent stereo separation between the 13 mini and 13 Pro. My battery life test at the end of the day only yielded a 5% difference between the 13 mini and 13 Pro. So battery life is a non issue even for heavy use days with the 13 mini. 13 mini with 512gb for the win for me.
I prefer the Mini series too. 💁🏻♂️

For a long time, in the United States if you wanted to buy an iPhone you had to buy it through the carrier, you could not buy an unlocked phone. During that time, I was going to Asia for one week out of the month, Taiwan specifically. I would always make sure I bought my iPhone when I was in Taiwan so that I could have it unlocked. I didn’t set it up until I got back to the United States, but Taiwan was always the first country on the list of countries, instead of United States. Therefore, these things must be localized.

13 mini is trash it doesnt have battery life it dies in like 5 hours i upgraded from 13 mini to normal 13 because of this problem. and it fixed it!
I'm from the Philippines, and my iPhone 12 PRO is the HongKong variant, but when I first booted my phone, it was region specific and had the Philippines on top of the list. :-)

Thanks for the video but i would give you real feedback on your camera setup so that it will help you in improving your reviews. Top camera: there's a lot of light reflection because of which phone screen is not clearly visible. Camera on your right: useless, because all it shows is your table. Editing: if you are talking about something about the mobile front face then bring in the top camera view and not the one which shows you.

I went for the Pro Max in Sierra Blue.
I wanted the 120 Hz screen and the extra battery life (close to 10Hrs).
If I didn't, I would have definitely gone for the Mini, Product Red.
It is a really big shame they don't do that colour for the Pro Max versions.

@@f3p Irrelevant. iOS is simply better than Android. Mobile SoCs have been fast enough for me for years. If I need performance I’ll use my 16 core 32GB RAM desktop for it, not a phone.

I’ll be honest, when deciding between the standard 13 or the pro, it never occurred to me to consider which had the. Better buttons 😂😂 but glad to know I made the right choice button wise 😊

@@chanteprice965 I got 13 regular with 256gb and its great. Very good battery life, very fast. Cameras are good too, especially main camera is great. Ultrawide you should use in good lighting conditions only. Main camera does well with night mode even in low light.
I got the iPhone 13 starlight 128gb. I’ve only had it for like 3 days and I upgraded from iPhone 8. What I can tell you is that the battery life in this thing is so crazy!! It actually last me whole day with heavy usage without worrying about charging them again. I’m loving this phone so far!

I got the mini and will never look back. Super easy to use and great to the hands.
The Mini may be smaller in size, but it has a large screen. I’ve been using the 12 Mini for a while, and sometimes I almost forget it’s a “mini” phone. It only feels small when I’m carrying it, but not when I’m using it. I think the name “Mini” is misleading. “Compact” is the actual term. Which version did you end up going for?

Hello Gary, the blue does NOT look blue when it is in my hands!!! In your video that phone looks really blue BUT when I purchased the iPhone Pro Max in the blue, it looked at best grayish blue!!! I have not seen that color on the Apple online website!!! Help! Barb

@@TheDecree93 yeah you made a sound choice. next year you will have again better cameras and people who chase the absolute best are once again having to buy new pro model. standard is great, its more than enough for most people. and by most people I mean even techies. the only people who should buy the pro models are people for who money just isn't an object and the want the best, or professional content creators who need the best possible cameras on phone. or just gamers who absolutely want to have 120hz... for me, regular does the job. upgraded from galaxy note 10+ and happy with the standard 13's performance and especially battery.

Can you check is iPhone 12 mini cases are compatible on the 13 mini or not? Haven't seen that comparison on any video on CZcams.
They will not be compatible, the 13mini is thicker and I think button placement may have shifted.
buttons shifted slightly and the camera bump is bigger so no. this applies to all iphone 13 lineup
