That's really sweet.
It needs a motion sensing add on. So I can shut it off at 10 but if someone approaches it comes on.
@@pestandlawnginjacould you use a smarthings motion sensor to trigger turning these on with Google Home ?
@@jasonabney6577 I'm not entirely sure but my thoughts are no. Maybe someone else can chime in but when I disconnect the hard line and reconnect it takes the computer time to boot up and connect to the network. And also doesn't turn it on.
I believe it would take some very simple program to allow such a device.
But maybe it's possible now
Good vid man. I had Jellyfish installed in February of this year so I’m really enjoying them now that it’s the holidays. Also they match the color of your houses trim with the tracks so they are hard to see in the day time.
Your video inspired me to get perm lights. After the unbelievable quotes, I did it myself for under 1k. And I've expanded into my yard for christmas
Thanks for sharing! It looks fantastic 😃 the colorful mode is so cool 🥲
Have jellyfish coming
Over on Friday to give
Me a quote. Perfectly timed updated review. Thanks for the info.
I am a new Jellyfish installee in Birmingham AL. I was so intrigued by the lights I openned a business to install them! Great video!
LOVE your update! Im the dealer for NW Arkansas & SW Missouri, THIS is a great share for those interested.
I just installed the govee permenate outdoor lights. They are incredible , so Brite, love this guys house and light, but I got to say I like the look of govee better they project on your house in just an amazing way to create very special effects. Great video ty for inspiration
#95 liked . Looks like it has held up well and still looks great. Happy Holidays bro
Love this system since the first video it’s amazing just can’t justify 5k yet happy holidays
I remember when you did these.
Looks great man. What would an install like yours cost? Thanks 🍺
It's about $5500.
$650 per controller
$25 per linear feet
I installed About 180 linear feet
We have Trimlights and its the best thing we have ever done! Its basically the same thing. We wanted Jellyfish but they didnt do our area.
Ginja is levelling up with the Ekster sponsor! Congrats. Timely video on the permanent lights, I've been looking at deals for these on black Friday.
I have my setup cost $4k. The only thing I am upset about is lack of HomeKit support(they do support Alexa/google now) and music sync.
Yes you can do a DIY system but I agree the price is the track system you’re paying for. If you buy the Govee and you if the pads start to come off it’s just more headaches.
Got mine installed over summer with big “Christmas in July” discount. My family absolutely loved them.
I’m a tech bro who knows how to code and would buy this system 100 times over instead of creating my own.
Only complaint is I can’t loop multiple patterns together to create a scene.
thanks for sharing! about the looping patterns. I'm hoping this is the primary update they're working on with the music and lights show program they are creating. it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
I'm going to do the front of my house only. Couldn't afford to do the sides, they still look cool. Jellyfish lighting, nice looking lights.
I got jellyfish installed last year and we love them. It’s funny watching cars slow down and check them out.
I do wish each holiday and throughout the year that Jellyfish would update their app with new patterns. It wouldn’t be difficult for them.
Love it! It's a great setup. The cars slowing down is a real thing. Such a clean look
Wish my neighbors would shut em off after 10:00 so we can see the night sky. But when ya pay that much??? While your inside watching football??
Oh well.
I have gemstone lights they are fantatic. Diy is an option but nowhere near as nice.
Gemstone lighting better than this? 5year warranty, leds rated at 50khours.anybody have them?
They are much better than jellyfish. Way brighter. Real warm white. Jellyfish is cheap version of gemstone
Nowadays there's tons of videos for diy and save. For 5g's they're not worth it.
@@jsully23 the real question is where do you calculate the value in the installing. 40-80 man hours at a minimum $22 per hour
idk whats worse the tacky lightning or getting your son to shill products for you
@@pestandlawnginja my day isn't bad I'm not having children just to sell products a sellout would back
