hi rafael. I seem to have a hard time animating eyes in after effects and it looks a little wonky because the puppet pin tool bend the other parts too much and I can't seem to perfect it. Any tips? or tutorial vid?

Did you precompose each layer separately? They need to have their boundaries the same size for this technique to work. When precomposing (Ctrl + Shift + C), remember to check the option "Move all attributes into the new composition" - this will ensure the correct size for all layers involved.

Can I do the course of this tutorial with the latest version of Duik Ángela?
On the DUIK Ángela panel, open the "Tools" menu (Sickle and Hammer), then click on the "Text" category, then the Layers renaming script will appear. It works basically the same way as version 16 of DUIK. I think I need to update this tutorial, I'll do one soon, thanks for the comment. (Yes, this process is 100% compatible with the new DUIK)

Why did you precomp it before do puppet? Does it give more control?
I precompose the layers where I'm going to paste the Puppet Pin and Masks effect set into the main layer so that all the layers have the same size and position. That way this process works.

I made the rope and arrow with solids, Saber plug-in (Videocopilot) and shape layers. I made the aura with fractal noise and some distortion plugins.
