In this video I take you through my personal steps that I took cleaning and unyellowing Air Max Off-White 90's. First, I take you through my process of how to clean sneakers the right way. Then I take you through the steps that i use when Unyellowing & Icing soles and getting the best results for my customers. Now, I honestly surprised myself with the end results after first thinking they were too far gone and out for the count. Cleaning shoes isn't the easiest thing, especially when your dealing with Off White Materials. We just bought my daughter a pair of 2017 Air Max Off-White shoes. They were used but in good shape, but dirty. So I washed them in gentle cycle in a front loading washing machine. The “Air” in the right shoe came off. Can this be repaired? Does Nike OW have a repair place?

Hey whats up bro thank you for the support. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about the foam yellowing but if you have a growing light to unyellow shoes, then place the shoes in your set up and the plastic parts will umyellow naturally. Not a lot but a little helps

@@corbinkeller9382 yes sir the light I usually use is originally made for growing plants. It's used to mimic the sun and allows you to have a controlled environment for the shoes.
can you put the sauce on the clear air max bubble? im trying to clean up my silver bullet og qs’s and idk if i should tape the bubble
I've never tried it out to be honest so I couldn't say boss. But if you do try it let me know how it goes. You definitely don't have to tape it up though

yooo i have bought these beat, little less than this few months ago, sole yellowing and same stains on the toebox, besides that almost no yellowing(even on the foam not a lot). Do you have any tips on cleaning the toebox? i have tried a steamcleaner (witch had some result) and crep protect. previous owner has washed em with regular laundry detergent. maybe some sain remover, than steamcleaning, and afterwards washing with reshoeven8or laundrydetergent?
Its pretty hard to clean these because of the multiple layers of materials in the toe box. What I did is just clean it as much as I could with reshoevn8r. Then afterwards once I put them in my ice box they started to naturally unyellow I guess since it was being exposed to the light I have. So if you have a light to unyellow them then I would suggest trying to do the same.
Also in my opinion I wouldnt suggest using or even buying reshoevn8r laundry detergent because its just so regular that theirs not need for the purchase. you could just use regular laundry detergent and itll work just the same. But for sure the thing that helped me here in this video was mainly the exposure to the artifical light I have.
I’m planning on buying some off white vapormax’s “part 2” for my girl in white and was wondering if salon care 40 could be used to whiten the clear plastic swoosh? It isn’t too yellow but it’s noticeable. If I can use it, I plan on taping off the uppers to prevent it from seeping onto the uppers. Thank you in advance
I've personally never tried to unyellow that part of the shoe tbh. You can always give it a try and see what happens just make sure to not get that sauce anywhere else on the uppers to avoid ruining the shoe

My vapormax foams are so yellow idk if I wanna wear them anymore. Would you still rock those even with yellow foams? I mean it’s still new just the yellowing. Need other people’s opinion
I would still rock them. Yellowing is inevitable on that specific pair but won't ruin the shoes look.
have or can u put the sole sauce on the netting, swoosh or foam to remove the yellowing off that? a lot of off-whites have that and i havent seen a video done anywhere on it.
Unfortunately you can't put it on the uppers of the shoe. It's only used for rubbers and some plastics. I too have tried to find a way to unyellow the uppers but have had no luck with using a certain process.
The yellowed netting around lace holes seems to be rubber material so in theory the sole sauce may or may not work
To unyellow under the netting since the netting isn’t yellow just the material underneath is you’d just need the laundry kit from Reshoevn8r and throw them in the wash and you’re good🙏🏾
The netting does turn yellow on these. I've seen it with multiple pairs I've worked on. These actually were thrown in the washer too.

Can you use this with the OW Air Force 1 Low? On the top part where they get also yellowing 🤔
Unfortunately you can't but I found that just placing the shoes in the my indoor light without any sauce worked a little bit.

Hey man do you recommend throwing a pair of these into the laundry with resoeven8ters laundry system or will the suede fuck up?
Yessir you can use the laundry method on these and they'll be just fine. Now once you pull them out just let them air dry. Once they are completely dry you'll have to reset the nap of the suede so it can be soft again.

@@Nameless.24 yes you can. But make sure to put the settings to small load and on gentle that way it doesn't mess them up. I've seen reshoevn8r do the laundry method on them but I know what you mean about being scared about the foam lol
What kind of light do you use?
I use a 600 watt growing light. My verison isnt sold anymore in store but you can check put my amazon storefront and see what light i suggest using.

Check out nu antidote by nu life kicks. Their product might be able to unyellow it.

You can clean it with a good medium bristle brush but as far as yellowing goes, that's permanent

Unfortunately the foam can't be whitened or unyellowed.
The restoration came out really nice but I would of leave them dirty if I was the owner because I really like them aged
How long do you typically do your sessions ?
They are always 24-36 hours to ensure I get the best results possible

I have some OW am97 and they’ve yellowed all around, what are your rates for icing? Shoe is super clean just yellowed
It just depends on the condition of the shoes. Send pictures when you get a chance so i can give you a correct quote.

How about the yellow mesh toebox?
The only way that I found that unyellows it is just by simply placing it underneath your light source. After each and every session I I on the soles I noticed that the mesh started to naturally unyellow too, even without having sauce on it

Its A indoor set up that you put shoes in and under a light to reverse oxidation on shoes.
Why does the foam even turn yellow
It just naturally turns yellow overtime due to the air, heat, perception, etc in the environment that the shoes are left in. It's basically inevitable.
Sad thing is who ever had these shoes acted like a maniac in them lol how the hell did they jack they shoes up like that? those are casuals dude must have been playing rugby in them shots lol
Lol yeah it's crazy to me hoe people can beat their shoes up like this especially when they are originally nice. Luckily I was able to bring them back but he actually sold them right after he got them lol probably made a good amount too
